PTLM has confirmed that departmental store operator PARKSON will be opening their upclass store in Empire City come mid 2015. Parkson will occupy a retail space of 104,000 sq ft. The store will carry an appeal that will be on par with its city centre stores in Suria KLCC and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Recently, Parkson opened a 230,000 sq ft suburban departmental store in IOI City Mall, Putrajaya.
Last week, PTLM reported that Mammoth Empire Group would host "The Party Of The Century" on 23 January 2015 at the grounds of Empire City. The closed-door event will be a dazzling show, with a special appearance of Paris Hilton, in essence to introduce Empire City as Malaysia's latest shopping destination with over 2.4 million sq ft of retail space. Frequently compared to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in Bukit Bintang, the mall is targeted to open this year. In addition, special performances from Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, Zouk DJ Ken, and Australian tenor, Mark Vincent will enhance the international atmosphere created by the honoured guests and business owners flying in from across the globe.
Empire City will feature hotels like Marriott and Autograph Collection; an Olympic-size ice rink; an international bowling-alley; a 8-storey entertainment building comprising a 20-screen cinematic and 4DX halls by Korea's CJ CGV, the world's first multi-projection theatre and a cinema-themed hotel; four thematic streets with an International High Street, Colonial Street, Asian Food Street and Bar & Bistro Street boulevard-styled retail and signature offices.

I highly doubt it. Just look at the project...half the windows haven't been fitted yet, roads don't have Tarmac on them, parking is merely skeletons at this point, and not to mention there are lots of cranes working on other buildings nearby and those don't even have walls up!

As long as they are working on it still ok....
