The closed-door event will be a dazzling show, with a special appearance of Paris Hilton, in essence to introduce Empire City as Malaysia's latest shopping destination with over 2.4 million sq ft of retail space. Frequently compared to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in Bukit Bintang, the mall is targeted to open this year. I highly doubt it. Just look at the project...half the windows haven't been fitted yet, roads don't have Tarmac on them, parking is merely skeletons at this point, and not to mention there are lots of cranes working on other buildings nearby and those don't even have walls up!
