I'm sorry.. but I dont seem to be able to find much information or maybe I am just not looking at the right places or searching properly.

Is Gingerbread out for galaxy tab? And how does the upgrade work? Do I just open my market and download it? Pardon me for being very noob on this but it is my first ever android phone. Hope you guys can guide me.

Nobody mentioned that SGT can update to gingerbread yet.

I see some sellers selling SGT at RM 2399, SME set. This means Maxis is ripping us off by selling SGT at RM 2699 outright?

I use TuneIn Radio apps.

i tried that too, but more often i used Xiialive lite... but notice normally at night, it will buffering more often than day time..maybe more users at night..

Anyone uses gmote apps? Its a really cool apps that let me control my pc like a remote control for watching movie and also use my tab as touch pad and keyboards.

Not really, because Maxis had the sole rights (for about a month also, if I am not mistaken) to promote, market and sell the Galaxy Tab before other Telcos and distributors could actually get their hands on original units/stocks of the SGT. Most definitely an agreement between Maxis and Samsung Malaysia for the sole rights.

Anyway, for RM2,699 it comes bundled with a wireless 3G ZTE camera (SIM card enable/activated) worth about RM900++ as I was told. Still trying to sell mine for RM430. Any takers?

Added on January 15, 2011, 11:37 pmSo far my SGT is rocking fast like Lamborghini with no sign off Lag,heavy apps install and perform high graphic games and apps.
I'm using JM4 firmware .It now replaced my notebook as work purpose,open manual on site work. No more hassle to carry notebook.It's handy and the battery is last longer than my toshiba notebook.Heavy usage for 5 hours plus still solid.

I suggest to people who what to buy a SGT, better buy from SME outright. You still got full Sammy warranty and the price is cheaper than maxis day light robbery, I think one of you mention already the price is rm 2400. may be you can put some bargaining,who knows? You won't regrets buy this Tab cause you have assess to endless of free apps.
