Just got my Unifi installed on Tuesday.
Only issue is the Residential Gateway (which is a Dlink Wifi router) which hangs or stop responding after a few hours. Had to power down and restart the router.
Unfortunately, I don't have the username and password to access the RG. If possible, anyone has it? Need to peek at the settings and try to replicate them onto another router, either TP-Link or Linksys.

QUOTE(sil3ntHunt3r @ Sep 22 2010, 08:14 PM) Just received SMS from TM Unifi.. important info from the message: Downtime in Wangsa Maju from 12.00AM (23/09/2010) till 6.00AM (23/09/2010). Advise to switch off-on BTU after the said period to ensure triple play service resume.. I didn't get this SMS. Wonder why. I'm in Seksyen 4. edited. Was still using the internet for online gaming & torrenting past 12am until 3.00am. I'm sleepy at work right now This post has been edited by avex|mode: Sep 23 2010, 10:42 AM

QUOTE(charymsylyn @ Sep 20 2010, 03:52 PM) Retail DIR615 is not the same version as the one TM provides. This one might work: ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlay...rt-firmware.binFollow the rest of the guide and get back to us. gott my unifi up again!!!! thanks to the write up sent by alexjaya. the settings for retail 615 flashed to dd-wrt is different because of the hardware version is different. i got my hsbb back... woohoo.... bro alex, i hope u don't mind me broadcasting this message and pass your documents around if anyone ask.

Finally have my Unifi working on Mikrotik RB750B router with IPTV. Now i can junk the dlink for good. Manage to configure the router accordingly after TM came to replace my dead Dlink which allows me to sniff the iptv packet.
I was harping on the wrong setup all the while. IPTV packets doesn't go through PPPoE but rather just directly to TM server. If you disconnect PPPoE, your IPTV will still work. All the while i was configuring my router to be Q-in-Q thinking it is the PPPoE also trunking vlan600 frame.
The STB box will make direct DHCP call to get IP from TM, without your PPPoE. From then on, it is between STB and TM. So even if your Unifi account is locked or password changed, your STB can still work. I believe the MAC address of STB is registered with TM. Stupid me of setting up internal DHCP server distributing IP for STB and trying to NAT + Masq it earlier.
The setup is just to bridge the physical ethernet (link to stb) against vlan600 setup on the wlan ethernet for IPTV. Ensure no firewall is placed on bridge.
For PPPoE, just create vlan500 under the physical ethernet link to wlan. Confugre PPPoE under this vlan500.

I was wondering, for those who has been using this service for some time, how do you receive your bills? I'm not sure how TM is going to notify us when the e-statement arrives. Or do they send the bills through snail mail as usual?
