youtube got its own internal meter, right click and select Show video info

as for my pc, i have the speed gadget for win 7... easy to use

followed rizvanrp's guide on making DIR-516 as bridge for tagging and my own router for internet...
not sure whether its my area's connection or my laptop's wireless(all the while flawless, so i dun think so)
after setting up that... my download speed seems to drop and the latency from speedtest.net 1-2k ms....
issit anything to do with my settings?? or my router (Netgear WGR614v9)??

Before this, may I know how do you connect WGR614v9 and how do you compare after configuring DIR-615 as bridge?
Are you running WGR614v9 stock standard firmware or dd-wrt?

Thanks for the link, klseet, i tested it too with 720 HD, the video was played flawlessly without halting. Image attached, the dropped shown (69) was actually on the second round play of this MV.

Yes, generally I noticed 720P still boleh lah on my VIP5 ...
but this one 1080p really lag every few seconds on my VIP5...

for me it is smooth, when i play this 1080p youtube. I am on VIP5 also.

How come mine is not so smooth, in general for all 1080p ... strange, somemore we are at the same area ....

Im on VIP5 too..and 1080p on Youtube no problem for me Probably different videos will produce different results ( number of people watching )

Maybe Leong eat most of your bandwidth ...

may be you all have play the youtube and the data is cache somewhere in the network. that will explain some get faster data being display and some not.

data packet loss is 0%. seems they fix it on monday or tuesday.. well going to test some d/l and see anymore corruptions file.
