QUOTE(nicks @ Sep 10 2010, 02:14 PM) i was thinking to change my 1mbps streamyx to new VIP5 unifi. but what i concern, there are so many problem with the latest package such as; Well, the corrupted download hopefully is momentarily as soon as after the holiday they should fix it. The stability really depends. When I got my first Unifi, there is downtime for 2 days then after that is ok . (due to something related to mess up username from their server and such). There is no Cap yet, But in the future maybe yes... or no...1. file downloaded mess up 2. ip sometimes got sometimes no, so not really stable connection 3. 2gb per day, (any1 already kena cap from TM lately?) My location is in Sungai Buloh, got user stay near my location. wanna inquire about the speed, limitation, stability and so on? |

QUOTE(nicks @ Sep 10 2010, 10:11 PM) thanks for answering. heard that they only provide username, and for the password is computer generated. any chance to get it when they coming doing installation. There are currently no pormotion, but I do heard the Installation Fee is required for... What is it September this month ? or October ? Can't Remember.Wow, impressive. 50gb per day, premium account anyways? or torrent-all-the-way? I do have another question, what is under promotion currently? any1 can share, whether got freebies, or free gift, etc during this Raya festive, or they only have a standard promotion, free installation only? Anyway, at night my line is getting worst... sigh... |

QUOTE(ruffstuff @ Sep 11 2010, 12:13 AM) Although TM DIR-615 is a crappy router, it is the only one out there can do vlan tagging, ppoe, routing and wireless at the same time. We still need to find a single router that can do all these thing to completely replace DIR-625 without the need of extra equipment. Woah. Thats a RM500++ router there. But nobody knows it will work with our setting... :star:Guys, what about this router? http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps9931/index.html It has level 2 manage switch. Can do vlan tagging. Problem is, can't buy this router here. |
