Anyone else experiencing downtime?

my past 1 week experience wif UniFi was a pleasure

files that i normally take 1 to 2 hours to download finishes in 15 mins now

no throttling whatsoever

youtube videos in HD quality loads wifout any lag

speed is consistent except once where it dropped to 2 Mbps but tht was about 15 mins and then it was back to normal and once when i couldn't connect to the router through wifi and i restarted the router and it was ok again

overall this past 1 week i am satisified.. hopefully it will remain this way tongue.gif

UniFi back in service since 1:30PM. They claimed to have a "network problem" which affected some users in my area.

my bad, i mean router. most likely im gonna be getting a Dlink router with revision b firmware which would be dangerous to flash to dd-wrt. gonna need to do the vlan bridge mode and use my juniper netscreen 5GT to dial.

so anyone manage to flash dd-wrt with the latest unifi router?

My unifi speed test is half again, really disappointed with their service. Paying vip20 but get speed of vip10 and below.

Question on Unifi:

1. Unifi's phone is a VOIP phone. What is the phone number for it? Same as 03-xxxx xxxx?

2. Can we plug this VOIP line that comes with Unifi, into a IP PBX, so internal users in the company can call from this VOIP line?

1. Yeah

2. Depends on what BTU you're using and your other equipment really. I believe there's some security checks using DHCP parameters in place to prevent non BTU clients from patching into the VOIP network. I haven't done much research on this because my own Fiberhome is pretty restrictive and I lack VOIP equipment to test it with.

Hello.

Today my Unifi is a bit weird.
Seems like I have given fixed IP even though I subscribe VIP5.
I try reconnect my connection many times but still assigned same IP address.
I rebooted my router also got same IP address.

Anybody else facing this?
