QUOTE(shahada @ Oct 9 2010, 10:10 PM) I need some feedback on DECT pairing with the Panasonic phone supplied with UniFi. Hi, I have 4 DECT phone at home, 3 Panasonic of various model from the basic to the advance colored, and 1 free no brand DECT from TM when I signed up for 4mb combo. So far all the 3 Panasonic DECT work flawlessly but the TM one has exactly the same problem you mentioned. No ring, though I can still answer it. Btw, I am on VIP20.I previously am using 5-year old DECT ClassicPhones. When I paired them with the UniFi Panasonic phone, they can dial out with no problem, but when an incoming call comes, only the panasonic will ring, the ClassicPhones are silent. I'm guessing that it's some compatibility issue, but before I go out and buy another Panasonic DECT phone to pair with the UniFi one, can anyone confirm that they've successfully done this? Both phones will ring when an incoming call comes? Anyone can recommend a basic Panasonic DECT model that pairs well with the one supplied? |

After 1 month of smooth drive on my VIP20, problem starts to pop out. My speed downgraded to 5mb since yesterday night. This morning when I checked again (unifi speedtest and speedtest.net), become 10mb. |

QUOTE(Mini Nici @ Oct 23 2010, 06:43 PM) This is really crazy. My UNIFI VIP5 stays at 300kbps to 800kbps for 3 days and complain to service centre is just in vain. I am really frustrated with this!!! Another money sucking service without quality! Something wrong on their side. Mine VIP20 ended up only 5mb .. already complained and they mentioned that they are still fixing it. |

QUOTE(jackbanner @ Oct 27 2010, 06:59 PM) I just realized it this month. Unfair. They provided poor service that we have to called them to rectify it and they charged us for their mistakes/problems. This is daylight robbery With all the problems that some of us are facing, I guess we need to bring the complaints to MCMC instead of through their technical support line. I will do it by this Friday if my VIP20 is still giving me 2mb download. Almost 1 week of problem. |

Please bear in mind. This is a normal router. Not an ADSL router. The line input for the microtik is LAN Cat5 cable. Not your telephone cable like all ADSL routers. Yup. It's daylight robbery. And they will keep you on hold for 10 - 15 mins each time before they hang up on you. I don't think that is advisable. MCMC is designed to be your last resort. Not your first port of call. If you do that, they might just tell you to complain to TM first and if nothing happens, then follow up with MCMC. I gave the suggestion of MCMC as I had complained 3 times to TM itself but problem not solved. |

My unifi speed test is half again, really disappointed with their service. Paying vip20 but get speed of vip10 and below.

QUOTE(cannavaro @ Nov 23 2010, 10:58 PM) Nope, I wrote straight to SKMM coz when I called them the CS said they're unaware of the fact that TM Corp. Comm said the premium channels will be given back. I will do the same, will write my own version, really feel cheated.I even attached the screenshot of their website that states VIP20 users will get premium channels. Got it from the earlier unifi thread here. Perhaps you should report to SKMM too. If you need a template I'll be glad to fwd your what I wrote, in BM. |

QUOTE(Futurama @ Nov 27 2010, 07:50 PM) I just realized we VIP20 unifi subscribers got shafted by TM. Just turned on my tv hooked to the stupid hypptv and most of the channels i used to have must pay extra RM9 for each of them!!! Yup, cheated. I just wrote to mcmc about this with attached brochure, wait and see what excuses they are gonna give. |
