I seem to have problems with my unit, where it wont start up even on full charge. but it will if I connect the usb and then turn it on. without usb to help 'kickstart' it, the phone just wont start!

Nevermind, I gave the phone a whack and now it works normally.

Cannot but I found out the reason. I emulated T-mobile US SIM number using Market Access. I just have to restore DiGi SIM identification and APN can store again.

hmm, strange. Nvr faced this before. Maybe you pressed wrongly? or try to flash new firmware then.

I didnt remove OCLF. But I remove EXT2. Keeping it for rooting my SGS coz I need to use Titanium BackUP.
Any issue so far using Voodoo?
*
Mind me asking how did you remove EXT2 without removing OCLF? As I understand it, OCLF creates an EXT2 buffer on top of the regular RFS. It's this buffer that gives OCLF its performance edge.

As for Voodoo, there were reports of devices unable to sleep on beta 1, altho I never personally experienced that problem. On beta 3 the clock rate is locked at 1Ghz but I still had 68% battery remaining after 19 hrs uptime (few phone calls, about 15 SMS, lots of twitter and facebook, EDGE, no Wifi). All in all, it feels a little slower than OCLF provided the EXT2 buffer wasn't being written to RFS. But other than that, it runs like a true champ.

Yeah, the 3 button is a bit of a hit or miss. Sometimes I can get it right.. sometimes my screen flickers like yours. If you know how to use adb, you can simply hook up your phone via USB with debug mode on, and just enter recovery mode thru the adb command. It's easier and works every time.

Have you ever manage to use 3 buttons to enter recovery mode? If no, you're likely to be the affected batch with no 3 button recovery mode. Then recovery mode is only accessible by ADB, which you would not be able to use in case of mishaps.
