I agree, flashing is a real pain. If you're rooted, you could always use Titanium Backup.Samsung Galaxy S I9000 Official Thread V4, Please read FAQ at 1st page!!

QUOTE(angel-girl @ Sep 14 2010, 01:40 PM) i just downloaded titanium back up.planning to change FW if those apps can b back up Recommendation as in firmware? I haven't tried that many because I just can't find the time to do so. I've used JM2 and now I am on JM5. Both are ok. Would I say that they're better than stock? Not really, no; simply because my complaints are centered around the lag and GPS - both of which, to my knowledge, have not been conclusively resolved by Samsung. I'm sure there are many here will swear by whatever firmware they're using and can provide better supporting evidence. JM7 or JM8 seems to be ok from what I've read. JM5 is all right for my daily use. I am more concerned with fixing the damn lag. i think both of them are the most snappy and stable rom so far for Eclair.
Using it with voodoo lagfix, there's no more lag, and GPS locked down within 10 seconds, pretty amazing. |

nope just remove, then flash voodoo. As easy as that, but if you want to flash new firmware ontop of voodoo, better read the official site for FAQ

QUOTE(casper1 @ Sep 14 2010, 05:26 PM) so the extended 1 work the same?my concern is to block DATA completely. Yes, SMODA does not rename APN, i block everything. not even MMS can get in. My Q is, does the DATA NETWORK toggle on extended control block data from transmit? |
