I bet you would have rebooted the phone within today. I think it's a bug with the task manager which Samsung should pick it up very soon. Then they should release another update. For now, I'll just use the task manager with disappeared buttons.

ya, I'm sure we need to reboot the phone sooner or later, right? Hope Samsung will fix this bug soon...

guys!

I've just installed Voodoo Lag fix beta3~!! it is fast like hell.

But i found out 1 of my app "got to do" become slow again after uninstalled OCLF and apply Voodoo.

so, I apply OCLF again after I apply VooDoo. It works!!! Now my SGS is super smooth. smile.gif

Anyone here tried this?

btw, there's a discussion on Xda about this also.
check it out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=781626

Off cause fast.....  the phone keep clock at 1ghz....  refer to change log of project voodoo..
*
The speed matsuru is experiencing isn't so much due to the 1Ghz fixed clock rate in beta 3 but can be attributed towards him/her using both the EXT2 virtual buffer from OCLF and Voodoo's EXT4 formated fs. Now that Voodoo formats the internal SD as EXT4 instead of the slowpoke RFS, buffer writes from the OCLF fix just performs way better.

QUOTE(matsuru @ Sep 14 2010, 01:26 AM)
ohh! issit good or bad?
*
It's great! But at the expense of battery life. Plus, it's a bug in the Voodoo beta 3 kernel.

Options
1) revert OCLF then apply voodoo

2) Flash new firmwares, there's better firmwares out there compared to JG4, then apply voodoo

I'm on JH2 now, with OCLF enabled. I've read here and there and it looks like we'd need to disable OCLF first (i.e. move back data from the ext2 virtual partition to the original RFS partition). I've tried to do this, but it's failing because I have too much stuff in the ext2 and not enough free space in the RFS partition.

Oh well, I'll wait for a stable Froyo release and stay with my current f/ware for now.

The procedure is simple, but the explanation may seem complex.

Isn't there an OCLF removal tool? I think it's mentioned in the OCLF thread over at XDA.
Before applying Voodoo beta1, I removed RyanZa's lagfix. This was before he made it into the OCLF apk so your removal procedures may be different. And yeah, you may want to flash a newer/better firmware before you do so.

Anyone using Vlingo which is downloaded from Samsung Apps? I only manage to use it once, before it stopped working asking for activation. When I press enter activation code, internet opens and shows internal server error. sweat.gif

You can use brut map. They modified Google Navigation to make it work internationally. You can find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=630887

How well does it work? Anyone here using it? Would love to have some screenshots smile.gif

When Froyo is officially released for the SGS, you would still refuse to flash up? Because you already have too many apps?

Sometime ago there's bulk for leather casing/pouch. What's about it now?

To be precise, the Zenus and SGP leather case.

Dear Bros..pls assist . I'm buying from Maxis..what is product code for this? XME? CCM..?
*
I want to know to. My current unit comes from Singtel and has product code of XSO. If I know the code for Maxis unit, I can change the phone's customization exactly to Malaysia set and receive updates similarly to Malaysians.

My way of knowing product code: *#272*HHMM# (HHMM is 24 hour format of the current time)
