Yes I know. But even after I exit the GPS, it is still consuming battery power when I check on the battery use in settings. I think this is a bug in android software. Anyone can confirm this?

Added on September 8, 2010, 10:12 amI found a thread about this GPS draining battery issue... Very similar to my problem. I need to restart my SGS in order to clear away the GPS software from draining my battery.

check your battery history, i bet not the android system. i have the same problem of serious drain make the phone just last a day and found out that some software keep the phone from going to sleep.

also, i do note that the papago stand a significant amount of battery consumption in percentage even after i close it. not sure why but on battery consumption wise, not seeing an impact

hey guys.
I love this phone.
but I've some problem with the Vingo app that's included in the phone.
After I launch it for the first time. the 2nd time when I launch it, it requires me to enter activation code. when i click the button, it goes in to a page but later on it just shows unable to access the page.

So how do I activate it?

thanks.

i had the same prob b4.

my fren helped me out with the issue.

go to Messaging>Settings.

Under Storage Settings, set your Text Message Limit to 160. the same goes for Multimedia Message Limit as well.

happy trying and good luck!

this is just number of message being stored before Android starts auto deleting the old one, not number of characters

Well, you can group the different applications in different pages.

Example:
Page 3 can be all games
Page 4 can be all tools
etc

ya, that's what i'm doing and i'm at 11th page, so abit lazy to scroll all pages from one end to the other even i tried to put frequent use program at first few pages.
