Nice rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

But how bout disconnections? does it dropout? intermittent sync issues?

Im worried that if more users are now at the same exchange, it may cause congestion.

once again, 2 years is a long time, and the ETF is no joke. lol.

Secondly although TM is expensive, but they are pretty reliable nowadays.

Download and Upload.... :-)

Somehow, I am having the 6Mbps package, and when I do speedtest, my UL always higher than my DL....Note that I am torrenting and my UL isn't low for a start, min 5.7 (NEVER LOWER THAN THAT) or 6+....

Maxis WILL have IPTV....REALLY soon.....

i got my answer,thanks..

Maxis wired – looks promising with 6Mbs? Apparently the hype was short-lived.
Less than 24 hours, I was already feeling the worst nightmare that continue to haunt me since the notorious TM days. Having snail speed like 4kbs? I run several speedtest at different intervals, the speeds are anything but encouraging…Maxis customer service? Lagi best…
Calling 123…
Me: I just subscribe FTTH…blah blah blah
Cs1: (after getting the details)…sir,you should call 1800 82 2000…
Attempting to call few times, manage to get thru after 3rd times…
(after waited like 5 minutes)…
Me: I have my FTTH installed…the story all over again…
Cs2: (suddenly) Can I have the SIM card no?..
Me: SIM card no? Aren’t you listening? SIM for FTTH? You understand FTTH???
Cs2: Yes, sir…let me check (wasting my time again)
After getting more details like account no, mobile and etc
Cs2: Sir, can I have your SIM no? (WTF!!!!!)
Apparently, Cs1 provide me the wrong number, I was supposed to call elsewhere but it took me more than 10 minutes just to clarify that!!!
Does Maxis provide simple training to them?
I thought the conversion from P1 is final, apparently all broadband services here suck!!!! Sigh!

So, new FTTH subscribers. Reviews on the 10Mb service?
Just got my VIP10 and already thinking of breaking the contract. Same speed for RM100 less is too tempting already.
Torrents? Games? Compared to Unifi?

Bro, thanks for the number. I been looking for the right number to call as well.

Another number listed on the Maxis FTTH website is Maxis Support: 1800-82-1123. Wonder why Maxis did not state
the toll-free number for the respective services correctly.

stick to your UNIFI 1st.....save hassle of needing both technicians to come and nowhere to solve it immediately for u if they're not experienced.

I heard a friend mention if you have unifi installed and still in contract, Maxis will solve the unifi penalty for you if you decided to swap to maxis broadband 10Mbps package, is this true? anyone heard of this before?
anyway, i am hoping they have iptv soon because i need iptv (for my parents) as we do not want to install satelite tv for extra bill.

I asked Maxis earlier about this promotion, they said it is only valid to Mid June 2012.

I wish I could sign up, but I'm only 1 year and a half into my 2 years Unifi contract. And I'm paying 149 per month for 5Mbps.
