anyone using this maxis fibre internet now?
does it can run torrent & pps smoothly ? not like the streamyx, sometime can not run at all (block ??)...

  They are saying this way but later we have to prove it does affect. I assure 100%, talk to any network engineer connecting 10, 100 and 1000 users connecting to the the same access point well never not have any drop in network performance. Yes you can block wifi access from outside but hence you have just break their terms and condition because in the court of law. If you wish to press charges, you have already sign the contract in the T&C.

  I am upset that someone or departments in Maxis they can write such in-responsible statement. I assure in Europe or United States, Maxis will be sue for this . I know I  will first in line do it and complain  to consumer tribunal.

hey kenjixx, you also installed the maxis FTTH? which package? I'm about to install the 10mbps package this weekend.

I'm an advance user and have my own server hosting in my home using streamyx now, anyone know what is the maxis FTTH vlan tag/id number for internet/data connection? so I can properly configured my server to dial the FTTH connection.

is there any compatible modem/router? even without the voip. if the thomson is really bad, i rather go change the router. i hope with the new router the maxis line will be better. hope to get answer soon because they are coming to install the line to my apartment this friday

I switch off my modems when I am not at home. Anyone of you have experience that when you switch on the Thomson modem, you have to wait for at least 10 minutes before it is up and configured itself properly?

Everytime I on the Thomson maxis modem, I have to wait for at least 10 mins before I can use the connection. The TM Modem on the other hand, is up within seconds.

i terminate my streamyx 2 weeks before schedule for home fibre installation
only 3days without internet.. but using my mobile internet for the 3days period   

What to do with my Maxis 10mbps? Current usage: day time, no usage. Night time, 1~2 hours surfing + the other half streaming PPS...

The flying spaghetti monster hon is still not perfect yet, so far singapore server is playable only, MY server still getting around 300 ping.

why is the "G.arena" automatic change to "flying spaghetti monster" even i edit it?

IIRC, once upon a time long long ago, they spammed our forums advertising their site.  We've kept a grudge since.

Anyone here received two statements before installation? I know almost everyone receives a statement for RM 0.00 before installation, but I've received two statements with two different account numbers.

Probably not a big deal but I don't want to be billed twice when the actual statements start coming. Should I call customer service and make a fuss about it?

p/s probably has got to do with me registering twice, first online and eventually with maxis centre. But I only submitted the actual forms via maxis centre and had explicitly told the online guy I did so.
