oh ya guys, just wanna ask

how much for courier service to UK ? let's say per 1kg

omg, instant noodle here around 40-60 pence per pack and cigarette is also expensive.

and if things like cigarette being exported (like 5-6 packs) will get tax from custom?

your ciggy will be confiscated...and you might be sued..

I think they are referring to home student tuition fees increase, not International. Home student are presently paying heavily state subsidized fees whereas International are already paying full fees.

are you sure... cos i read their newspaper also nvr mention...
but yes, i konw we international students always paying full fees... cry.gif cry.gif

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/education/educa...e-to-10000.html

the news above said that the tuition will be triple to 10k pounds??
OMG, i'm planning to go over UK next year for my master...
my original cost is 16k pounds originally... so how much will it be then...??
i will die if i need to suddenly fork out so much...  where to find the money...?? T_T

Present UK home student fees is around ~3000. Triple it will makes it ~10,000, that's the exact figure mentioned in the news.

Of further interest is, International students are already now paying ~10K now. So if you triple that, it would be ~30K and that's not what's mentioned in the news.

Hence it would be pretty safe to say the fee increase only affects the home student.

Pray to god you don't get randomly checked.

My friend got his 8 cartons and 2 liter of alcohol confiscated.

I brought in 6 carton safely(for my friends).

His items got confiscated and he was slapped with two tickets on liquors and cigarettes respectively. 1 carton was the permissible limit. But well, people like me don't like that limit. tongue.gif

I still got 8 cartons left in my room. I don't smoke. Bought it for a friend who's still in Germany for Oktoberfest. Curse him.

for the good of your friends, don't you all think you should encourage them to stop smoking, instead of buying cheap cigarettes for them?....

In the world where people are constantly baffled between money and health, would anyone deprive the chance to earn more money because they care about ur health? Just look at our government.

Sadly speaking, no. Even if there were, it's only the minority.

I don't earn anything. It's more like a favour. I believe they are old enough to think for themselves but if they need something and I can get it, why wouldn't I? biggrin.gif

Btw, is it me or the weather here is getting more random?

with the same logic, if your friend wants to commit suicide, you would help him do it, because he is old enough to think for himself?.........

or he wants you to bring in heroin for his addiction, you would do it?.........
