Dude, I said some programmes, my sentence did not say notts offers an exchange for mpharm. You need to learn how to read.

Nope! But I did my degree at a foreign IPTS though. Many of my friends take the BPharm and Mpharm programme.

You can choose to study at institutions like Notts and Monash. They will allow you to go for an exchange for one year and still be charged local tuition fees only.

Again, I did not specifically say mpharm in the bottom sentence. Look for monash mpharm if you like. All courses in notts you to exchange for one year or 6 months, I know because I study there.

I said this with relevance to the op wanting to get overseas exposure without having to pay so much money. Again, I would aapreciate it if you do not deviate from the original point to legitimize yourself. If you dont understand the word personnel, its not my loss. If you can prove that a notts person is not even eligible for à one term exchage to a diff uni overseas, or even during the summerbwhere the tuition is covered, then youve got a point.

Hi peeps, I got an offer from an oversea university and a local university (UM) at the same time. Both offered me my preferred course, Pharmacy.

I am really in a deep dilemma.
Deep inside I really hope I could study abroad as I know there will be lots of challenges await me.
QUOTE(Cottoncandyclouds @ Aug 17 2014, 12:13 AM)
Do well in your local pharm programme, get good results and apply for masters overseas (Mpharm). You need to complete 4 years of studying if you were to opt for an overseas programme (3yrs degree +Mpharm) because for some reason that's the only way you are allowed to practice here in Malaysia. 4 years of overseas fee is really exorbitant and there are more scholarships available for postgrad study.

So do well and apply for a scholarship to do your postgrad abroad. That's what I did.

Heyy, you're taking MPharm as well? smile.gif

Refer to my editted post above, thank you. Im replying with a phone, and feel that ive made a sufficient stand about my use of personneĺ. Why not quote my msc mres pharm post while youre at it? I dont feel obliged to answer anything as long as you do not acknowledge the fact that youre harping on small semantical differenes, and feeling that you cannot reasonably deflect or justify otherwise, keep presenting nrw points of your own, and then trying to drag in unrelated topics to increase your own credibility. I rest my case.

i was going to let that pass....but since you insist, that is actually premature and potentially bad advice....and the poor fellow is now asking about this in the pharmacy thread....i will leave it to the pharmacy students like zstan and practising pharmacists to deal with that....

You have absolutely no right to judge because your brain doesnt seem to absorb logic, or understand lingual semantics. Why not tag him here and see what he says? Can I say the same by thinking youre some sortof fail student?

Get a dictionary, and stop aggravating others just because you want to prove something inconsequential to feed your own damn ego. You have yet to answer any of the questions ive thrown at you.

The limit of your intelligence shows when you refuse to acknowledge diversity in language and refuse to respect the rights of people who use it. I hope this becomes some sort of takeaway for you, in spite of yourself.

This is common sense.

I haven't even matriculated yet.

This is Nottingham speak, and I am proud of it. (though I honestly don't see what my university has to do with it).

Wow you guys need to calm down.
This is a thread to help students that intend to study in the UK.
There is absolutely no reason to continue arguing over such a small matter

Regarding the bank letter, in the event they ask for it, can i provide my parent letter n epf statement(only in bm,no eng version)?
Or can i provide my parent's bank statement or it must be a bank letter? Wat if the fund is not in for 28days?

From Supporting documents guide :

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/syste...r_Documents.pdf

Its stated

"If you submit a document that is not in English or Welsh, it must be accompanied by a full translation that can be
independently verified by the Home Office"

Don't worry though as you can find certified translators can translate documents in matter of hours.

Also read page 2 for more info on financial documents you can provide for a student visa. I think epf statement should help, but maybe bring along other documents to help out.

28 days is a must for money in bank, no way to get around that.

Hi seniors, since you all got into UK Unis, is there any tips on writing a personal statement that is desirable by those top universities?

Planning on writing mine since a long time ago, but just can't find something that can make my statement outstanding a bit.

Do not in any way try to emulate the North American sort.

I'm trying to dig out a small piece of advice I've gotten from the admissions committee, will PM to you once I can locate it.

Hi guys,

Just submitted my Visa application. Just a reminder here. If you ever make any mistakes on some particular details on the visa application, you can just use a pen to cross them out and do your corrections on the side. They'll still accept the application as long as it is a minor mistakes. However, be sure to point them out to your interviewer.

Note: You don't have to cancel your appointment or whatsoever to redo the application unless you apply the wrong visa category. Good luck guys.

Hey guys,

I have a question, comparing the expenses (inclusive of everything except tuition fee) approximately how much I can save from a year of study at Warwick / Cranfield compare to LSE, Imperial, Manchester. Since their master is almost the same price.
