Aside from using those softwares, the best thing is to view those voltages in bios.

if there's error poping out from superpi hyperpi, does that means the ram is faulty or the c2q die(strating to show faulty symptoms)?
error such as not exact in round from super pi.

Its either the ram or the proc, showing instability under stress.

Still it's rare to get instability if the proc are in stock speed and ram under it's default timing.

if u are using window vista, there might be some incompatible issue with super PI.
mostly the problem due to the ram, eg a rated 1066mhz ram canot stable due to difference strap setting.

well, looks like my mobo is not compatible with hwmonitor... but thanks to that, i decided to manually set my pll, vtt and nb voltage... and now my temp is less than 65c load, as compared to last time 71c load biggrin.gif...

placed pll value to 1.6 if not mistaken, vtt 1.2 and nb 1.2 or 1.3v cant remember,

which 1 is the one causing high temp for proc ya? izzit vtt?

my vcore before tweaking pll, vnb and vtt = 1.175
load temp 71c

after tweak pll, vnb, vtt, i reduce the vcore by 1 step, to 1.168

a drop in 0.01v make 5c difference???!!!

Stock vcore and stock cooling ?

Your temps also depends on the ambient temp and case temp too.

my ambient temp is around 25~27c, case (system temp) rite now is 47c =.="

i tried 3.6ghz with 1.16v, so far stable...

now trying to go 4ghz stable with as low voltage settings as possible hahaha

ifx14 hmm.gif

your case temp is quite high, try to open the side panel and see if there's any improvements.

this is mine

q6600 with custom water cooling set

3.6ghz 1.45v linx stable load 80/74/80/74 with orthos priority 9 stress test at 11.55pm.

3.8ghz 1.55v linx stable load 82/77/77/82 with orthos priority 9 stress test at 2.24am.
