sometime it's beyond to think that our big major problem that had us sink deep last season was becos our lack of creativity in the mid 3rd, n how do we respond tis season?,yes,,we loan out 1 of our best hope for creativity spark , n signed outdated rejected players instead doh.gif ,, can somebody tell me wat the hell goin on here with RH?,,its still early thou, but comeon,,atleast try to play football when u at anfield..

we started wit 2 dm plus rarely put pass all together for 90 minutes, defender kept on looped the ball forward.it's killin me to watch, luckily we hav torres upfront, but if we want to make it to the champ league, we need more than luck, we needs quality play...

I think the tough and all rounder Raul Meireles is a indirect placement for Aquilani who has been loaned out. Meireles can run into attacking positions and track back/defend in the central midfield...which maybe in Hodgson's eyes is more versatile than the more attack minded, softer and injury prone Aquilani.

Once RH gets a Konchesky and striker, I guess our lineup is solid with some options and better depth than last season...provided our players stay healthy. Plus don't fret so much as Joe Cole is coming back soon...there will be creativity coming right at ya. smile.gif

reading from all the post, I'm (we're) suppose to take comfort LFc 'win' at anfield against WBA.

WBA, the team which we in the past can almost send a second team & win comfortably. (attacking or defensively, whichever that suits the eye).

noting to add.

Skrtel can easily conceded 2 penalties when defending corner kick time. sweat.gif

Torres clearly is not fully fit yet, not as usual pace.
Gerrard also not looks like fully fit.

Very average performance, a mid-table team performance.

Midfield has no control of the game with Lucas+Poulsen.

Need improvement in midfield area.

and now, any player tat come to Anfield, if signed by RH will play VERY GOOD under this Super Manager... thumbup.gif

the reason is because RH is an English Man thumbup.gif

he can DAMN VERY WELL converse wif the players wat he really wants in them, not like RB lousy english tat i dun even understands laugh.gif

I'll bet my last dollar that language wasnt Rafa's failing and it certainly won't be the reason for Hodgson's success if he achieves anything. It's the second time you've mentioned this.

Fact: our team is so cosmopolitan, not everyone speaks good English anyway.

Fact: Rafa spoke better English than half our team. Think Aurelio, Insua, Arbeloa, Skrtel, Mascherano, Lucas, etc. Language is a problem in any cosmopolitan side today even if it's English.

Fact: even if all the players spoke perfect English, Rafa had Sammy Lee who speaks fluently in both English and Spanish to interpret on his behalf.

In conclusion, your argument that Hodgson will be a success just because he is English is weak at best, especially since English isn't the first language of most of the players.

Put more thought in for the sake of all Liverpool fans please.

i dont think we should say RH is any super manager at the time being, forget what he did with fulham. some teams can have one off seasons...

would you bet fulham can at least make it to the semis of the europa this season if they qualified and RH still at helm?

RH is not a magician , even jose mourinho will take some time at real madrid , like last night 0-0 game

anyways, dont put up your expectations.

we are to finish better than last season at least, which we got 7th and europa with some luck from Portsmouth smile.gif

we still need to improve, and alot of it i would say.

my dad who doesnt watch football laughed and switched the channel to badminton (he's a badminton fan). i dont blame him, it wasnt special enough for him to keep the channel on it

It is really worth to sacrifice one of highly rated youngster Dalla Valle for Konchesky? Sigh....

I really hope you know what are you doing RH. There is much better left back in the world which cost around that amount.....

yes, RH is not supermanager. but before he managed fulham, he quite good at inter and swiss national team.

LB who is ready for BPL challenge and no need time to adapt the gameplay? not many though. dalla valle is one of fulham target since RH was there.

Gudjohnsen?

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/transfer-go...idur-gudjohnsen

A move for Gudjohnsen would cost around £4.5m and the Monaco man would surely jump at the chance of a return to the English top tier where he has netted 106 goals in 349 appearances and is of course a double Premier League winner during his time at Chelsea.

if you watch fulham - man united match few weeks ago, you will know why ...

although he a LB but he use to move in front and make a cross into the box.

yeah but sacrificing Dalla Valle for Konchesky? based on frequent reserve team match goer and videos on the net, Dalla Valle is the purest prospect to succeed Torres. though I believe this is purslow doings, but i cant helped to think that RH should do more to block it. RH rated Dalla Valle so highly last season he wanted to sign him for Fulham but Rafa reject.

rafa hard work to bring all these youths will be go down the drain...

well not much as the dateline is closing.

Shorey is not a bad choice (he does have some bad spell) but during the time in Reading he was excellent but too bad he signed with WBA.

Maybe I do not watch too much of him but I still do not understand why to we need to trade Dalle Valle. (If he is that great he should have been included in the England team right? hmm.gif ) Yes he might be a Fulham target for a long time but that doesnt mean that he is worth shit. If they Think he is highly rated they should have offer us some value not included as a deal for Konchecky (4mill + Dalle Valle)
