can anyone tell me since when liv played 4-4-2 against strong teams at away games??...i juz cant figure out what in Roy's mind when he put those 4-4-2 lineup..what even mind boggling is,even m.city only played with lone striker in tevez at their home turf!..maybe he's over confident???or juz plain stupid???..give me 0-0 bored fest anytime against 3-0 whacking!

QUOTE(rendude @ Aug 24 2010, 03:08 PM) it showed that man city is not a mid-table club anymore...just look at their subs....their total value alone are higher than our 1st eleven's. for me, 3-0 is lucky considering how we've spent so far in d transfer market compare to theirs. its abit strange why our so called die-hard fans expect us to win or draw this game in da 1st place. coz we are liverpool football club not everton??? nobody would complained if we played negatively in away games against strong team like m.city...the only time i remember our fans complaining is when we played negatively at home! |

QUOTE(normeck @ Aug 26 2010, 09:59 AM) Mourinho insists: I could never manage Liverpool he still felt bitter at liverpool bout that CL match...who cares if u dont want to manage liverpool! Jose Mourinho says he would gladly take over the managerial reins at Manchester United, Arsenal or even Chelsea - but he would never become coach of Liverpool. Mourinho and ex-Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez never saw eye-to-eye Mourinho, currently preparing for his first season as Real Madrid boss, says he harbours thoughts of a return to the Premier League but could never take the top job at Anfield. While he was at former club Chelsea, Mourinho had a fractious relationship with then Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez, and he incensed their fans with a gesture during the Carling Cup final in 2005. He told the Daily Mail: "Manchester United would be a great challenge for me. But Liverpool is not the club for me. I know why, but I cannot tell you. Tottenham, Everton... Arsenal maybe. These are all fine clubs with very good managers. "You can dream of what happens in one, two, three or four years. Who knows? I cannot say, but I think you have an idea of what I think about. I had a dream about being the manager of Real Madrid. It has come true. For me that is incredible." Although Mourinho insists his immediate priority is wresting the Spanish title from rivals Barcelona, he has again spoken of his desire to return to England one day. He added: "My ambition is success and I wanted to manage Real Madrid. I have no plans to leave. I have only just arrived. There is much work to be done. I do not know how long it will take. But I give my commitment to Real Madrid and we will see. Nothing is forever. "But I have to commit. I can't say Real Madrid one season, Manchester United, Liverpool the next, Barcelona after that. But I like England very much. I have many good friends there." Mourinho refused to rule out the possibility of returning to former club Chelsea - the club that sacked him in September 2007 - where he won their first league title in 50 years. He said: "Many of the Chelsea players are still good friends of mine and I always watch for their results and progress. They are doing well. Ancelotti is a fine coach and that is good for the club because they are a great club with many, many nice people." "I am careful what I say and what I think. For me it might be impossible. I don't know. I am not saying I would not like to. Who knows? Football is strange and beautiful at the same time." sos : soccernet |

after played like shite,3 point considered good result dont u think?...i'd rather take 3 point from shite performance, than drop points after creating countless of great chances
someone used to say, when u can still win after produced shite performance it shows that your team has the attribute to become champions |

i tot this transfer window was more like searching for the best buyer to get the profit from our players..not bout searching the best players to play for liverpool...pity to Roy coz he cant do anything bout it..but more alarming is what will Torres felt...our owners kept on lying to him bout bringing quality players..we even cant buy his backup!..i'm not gonna blamed him if he walk away in the next transfer window!

i blamed mostly on hodgson rather than players...when u put two CM with no creativity this is the result you'll get...and only made 2 changes sums up what Roy aim in this match...that is to get A POINT!!

QUOTE(skeleton202 @ Sep 15 2010, 10:22 PM) ManU wont look down against Liv as dey did against Ranger.. tis is the main prob y other team can while we cant... well u know what...so do we..our players were so pump up when playing against m.u...ask torres if u want confirmation...u can juz throw out the current form when these two teams met...there's little things separate between these two old rivals..things like ref judgement, miss absolute sitter or juz plain lucky...well except when we beat them 4-1! tats y burnley can beat Manu while we cant Added on September 16, 2010, 1:34 am QUOTE(LukeMjstc @ Sep 16 2010, 12:15 AM) Old Trafford is like a fortress... We can only beat them convincingly when we're on highs... The problem is, we're on lows, so i'd rather pray that they won't thrash us... we beat them 4-1 when we are on a lows & they are on a high..dont u remember??? tactically all wrong from hodgson!!...the score maybe 3-2 but surely m.u find it harder to beat liv when rafa in charge!
love m.u players face when liv equalized...they juz panic a lil while after that |
