hardware shop? So general ah...  tongue.gif
how does it looks like?
originally is used for what purpose?

Looks like this. Get this model 360ml (HPL810) it is the slimmest that can store our S95 with
Canon soft black case. Look under "tupperware" section at jusco, coldstorage, ACE etc.
cost about RM15.00.

For long term storage i put a packet of silica gel in to prevent fungus.

compacts very rarely get fungus.
anyway, i just use a lowepro apex 20 for my casing...size is just right for moving around with belt loop, rain cover etc.

thanks, it was under a bright sunny day, i think was around 3pm, using Manual mode and manual focus, the sun was too bright till i cant even see clearly on the lcd while manually focusing, which is y i think the picture could be even sharper if i s95 had a viewfinder... tongue.gif

So the latest price for this camera is around the RM1200 - 1300 mark?

I am holding off my purchase until they come out with GPS function.

it would be a nice add on, but personally i dont really need a gps on the cam, coz it doesnt actually improve anything on the pictures smile.gif

It would be very useful when after years gone by, you can still tell where that photo was taken.

As for short battery life, at any one location, I only intend to take one photo with geo-tag and then off the GPS to conserve battery life.

Use photo browser like Picasa and at the side, there will be a little map showing you where that particular photo was taken. Neat.
