QUOTE(poolcarpet @ Mar 15 2011, 10:12 AM) all using AV so that i can set to F2.0, AWB set to auto, exposure 0. For super macro shots, i used manual focus so that i can zoom on the stuffs i want to focus on wah, cakap macam pro! LOL |

QUOTE(Ciku @ Mar 21 2011, 08:11 AM) i'm trying play with Manual, at the lowest iso at the night shots, image is black...i cannot see anything, just some heavy light from the lamp that i can see.. what else i need to setting? shutter speed, white balance or anythings else.. do i need to open flash? start of with P settings, then once u r ok, then you proceed towards AV and TV, once u r done, then only go M! i like to take supermoon snapshot... |

QUOTE(lemon5969 @ Apr 30 2011, 11:53 PM) chdk something like firmware enchantment for canon, have u tried shooting that without chdk?CHDK is a firmware enhancement that operates on a number of Canon Cameras. CHDK gets loaded into your camera's memory upon bootup (either manually or automatically). It provides additional functionality beyond that currently provided by the native camera firmware. CHDK is not a permanent firmware upgrade: you decide how it is loaded (manually or automatically) and you can always easily remove it. more info: http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK_in_Brief |

QUOTE(Gyllen05 @ May 7 2011, 10:47 AM) Fatani, Hey Gyll,Hello, i am new to S95, and i am interested to know how and what setting did you applied to shoot the grasshopper picture. I've tried several macro shots with S95, but it always loses its focus and i ended up with an image blurrer than a IXUS 110 IS. Can you please advice? Thank you. Regards, Gyll if auto macro is off, try using manual focus, turn the dial till u get the sharpest shot, much like my below pics of the little fish in the pot, distance around 6inches away... taken with flash as it was in the nite ![]() This post has been edited by adam_lss: May 7 2011, 02:14 PM |

QUOTE(fatani @ May 8 2011, 08:34 AM) didnt quite remember, but i think i used macro mode for that shot and that's it. for low lights, my fav mode is M with iso 80. i'd say the only time you may want to use manual focus is when u want to take a photo but the camera default focusing is on somethin else... ada betul ka? |
