Is there any particular merchant which are tied to OCBC titanium card for the cash back? Eg: shell, maxis and etc?
*
I don't think so. Doing so means merchant is giving away money which is literally impossible for Petrol companies and others well .... why should they?
OCBC offers the cash back based on its own internal promotion.

So OCBC titanium is better than citibank-giant, citibank- shell, RHB-tesco.........
You have your freedom to go any hypermarket or petrol station...

Of course since they didn't mention specifically which merchant needs to be patronized.

I work in an advertising agency and I'm told that OCBC's relaunched Titanium card will be advertised prominently in the papers tomorrow.

With the 5% rebate, I'm sure applications will flood in. So forumers who plan to apply better do it fast. I'm glad I applied several days ago.

I saw the CIMB saying RM0.50 for IBG transfer on their website.
Why today when i first time want to pay my Citi CC at CIMB online, it show RM2? If really RM2 then it is not worth to get a Citi Plat Cash Back, because all my rebate will go to Cimb bank surcharge for IBG.

Sent mine in on 2/9/10. Approximately 5 working days later, i received a text message from them asking me to resend a clear copy of my MyKad and existing credit card. I did what they requested. Faxed them everything requested. A few days later, the status was changed back to "under processing" in the morning. However, when i checked again at night, the status was change back to "waiting for pending documents" shakehead.gif doh.gif Have not received any calls or text message from them since though.

CIMB Bank was having this MEPS IBG promotion but i think it had ended. Anyway, open a Basic Savings Account with them. Then you will be charged only RM0.50/IBG for the first 2 transfers done in a month.

An "informed" friend told me limiting a consumer to credit cards from two banks, and raising the minimum annual income requirements to RM24k is "very likely".

If you guys and girls are limited to only cards from two banks, which banks will you choose?

I'll pick OCBC Titanium. The other card will be either Standard Chartered, HSBC or CIMB Direct Access.

Just called OCBC to clarify why my rebate is different.
Case in point RM109.35 was the amount spent.
According to the CS, the reabte is based on 5% of RM109 (nearest RM)....not RM109.35
The remaining RM0.35 will be carried forward into the next cycle.

If you not happy with the Statement Date of your OCBC , you may call them to change it after you you cleared all Billed amount.

5.  The OCBC Titanium Cash Rebate Programme is calculated based on the Total Retail Spend for the month and is non-cumulative from previous month.
Doubt they will carry forward.

Probably will need to call CS and ask about the pin, which option to get it faster.
