If you plan to stream videos from your hard disk directly to your iPad. I will definitely recommend Air Video but you'd require a capable router, i resort to using a 300Mbps Wireless-N router to stream my videos from my MacBook's hard disk wirelessly/OTA.

Yes, you can share your internet from your Maxia USB Wireless Broadband Dongle. I am not so sure how to do it on Windows but its called "Ad-Hoc". I do it on my MacBook easily through "Internet Sharing" in "System Preferences. I would suggest that you get a "Mi-Fi" though.

You share your internet from your iPhone to your iPad but your iPhone has to be jailbroken and an app called "MyWi 4.0 has to be bought and installed through Cydia. Its called "tethering".

I recommend shutting down your iPad everyday, preferably at night when you're asleep. This is to clear the RAM of the iPad. Thats just my theory.

the ipad is for personal use only....got the bberry for the work related stuff, and yes, i wake up in the middle of the nite and answer emails half asleep laugh.gif

my only concern is the frequent rebooting is gonna wreck my ipad, but that's just the paranoid me icon_rolleyes.gif

Once I have put the micro-sim card to the iPad, do I need to set a certain setting in order to start my 3G wireless access??
