So once I went to SG (Typically Orchard area), I will try my luck at several apple reseller @ Paragon, Takashimaya, ION Orchard and Wheelock place.
Last Sunday, I went to Paragon's iStudio and seek for iPad 16GB wifi at around 4PM, and the friendly staff told me that I could had brought the last unit if I was there 15 minutes earlier. 

now it seems like my iPad wifi feels like a bigger iPod touch. opting to change it to a 3g one. anyone thinks this will make a major difference in my usage of the iPad? now im kinda losing interest in the iPad.

not sure about ipad...because i planning to wait 2nd gen release first then see the performance first. 
(use ipad for entertainment purpose, and drawing too... since laptop is too heavy for me...and i own a desktop so usually working i prefer do in desktop)

and also wait and see google, samsung,leveno, bla bla pad launch first...see which one apps is more useful for me.

Crap...just bight my iPad hours ago and now oni saying iPad with retina display is com in soon...guess I m not rich enough to chase after technology lol

I hope they increase the amount of RAM from 256MB to 512MB in the iPad 2.
With tweaks/mods (Winterboard), 256MB of RAM isn't very sufficient.
I install a lot of apps and games which are about 200 - 300MB each.

I did'nt JB my ipad, only have those "back to home screen" situation on some game app.

I personally own iPad and iPhone 3G. iPad still works fine at 10+ mb memory, but iPhone 3G would be freaking lag. Which means A4 processor does matter.

Plus, if you read most of the iPad apps, you'll find that most apps get updated due to apps crash issue.

how you know ipad consumed how many rams? got special apps can monitor?

Don't forget to close the tabs that you opened in Safari.. Many tabs, many ram consumed

This is one good tip. Some friend of mine just don't click the cross button after they open more than 5 tabs.

I'm sorry to say, you need to jb + activate sbsettings to perform this task.

I just did a test run, having clock radio, push email, friendly facebook browser running at background while answering you now in safari, the memory left 43mb. Still working smooth. No worry. As I said, even if goes down to 10mb memory, you still won't feel lag as this is using a4 processor. Worst case is the the iPad will kill all apps and back to home screen only. 

Took the screen shot. Can only think of upload to facebook to show you if you insist.

Btw, bro. I don't think you need to worry about this la since you don't do multitasking. iPad does not support that unless you jb+ activate backgrounder.

I have problems with Air Video. Sometimes it lags when streaming and sometimes the video just doesn't play. Anybody else with problems with Air Video? Also, the frame rate on OPlayer HD is really poor. My videos always stutter.
