well since everyone wants to wait. and waited so long. so y not jz wait somemore?
at first heard some rumors about malaysia launch with new rev of iPads (with facetime?) now seems they push forward for current gen of iPads for local launch instead.
yeah facetime enabled iPads... another long wait lol for the local launch. apple malaysia is quite 'controlled' by apple singapore. sigh

edit: also heard of a might be announcement from Apple in January 2011, but not sure what it is about. again is just my 2cents.
BTW i'm not from Maxis nor have Maxis insider source.

I am one. I have iPhone 2G, 3GS and iPad WiFi. Will go for iPhone 5/6, iPad 3/4 and so on.

By the time we get our hand on iPad 2 (assuming we can get it July 2011), it will probably be just another few months away from iPad 3

cloudreader will do just great.

I have iPhone 3G and iPad 3G. iPhone 4 antenna failed! Will go for 5/6 too.

i dont have iphone simply bcos i cant afford to fork so much for a phone.

I think it would be middle of November , which is next week.Correct me if i am wrong

Change your Itune password. Apps follow your itune account. Not Ipad.

lets say u have a pdf attachment in my mail (retrieve using safari)...can i get it to open via ibooks? now it just opens in another safari browser.......thanks

did you set a passoword .. !!! ...if yes ..then no worry about the content inside ipad ...

for ipad users outthere ..please remember to SET a password .. to ON your ipad .... !!!

unfortunately, no. i've changed most of the accounts that can be accessed by the ipad though....

Just hold down the attachment and you will see a popup menu which will allow you choice " Open In" . Tab " Open in " and you will have a choice of iBookks and other PDF readers that you have installed ( example Goodreader, Quickoffice, Cloudreader etc )

Personally I prefer to use Readdledocs as an app to manage all my attachments recieved in mail.

I am using an IPad with 3G and Wifi and 32G. I have an unlimited data and Voice SIM card in the IPad for connecting to the internet.

iI seem to have a strange situation here. Occasionally i get a message on my Ipad saying that my SIM card has sent out an SMS message.

I don't understand this at all.

Can anybody explain how this can happen when i have no means to send an SMS from my Ipad.

I am at loss here.

I would appreciate if anyone can explain whats going on here.
