Don't worry, new ios4.2 will be out in the few days time. So far confirmed is multitasking and the folder options...

Currently I m not using any app to open the PDF files, just the preinstalled when we purchased the iPad . However will try Benny method later :-) thanks.

my take on it:
1. 3g+wifi telco tied = maxis?
2. wifi = an AAR wif few chain stores countrywide & worldwide . they might be carrying the 3g+wifi ver as well. AFAIK iPad launch will be done by them as well.
3. followed by rest of APR & AAR(leftovers?)
4. not enough stock, same case like iPhone 4.

I wanna know if there are any software for ipad which support pdf reading+editing with handwriting input. Because i heard there is such a thing as a "pen" for ipad. Is this true?

Im more curious on the official price; itll more expensive then.singapore, right?

Hi just wondering for those using Digi broadband for the iPad, do you have any connection problems when you are travelling to different states in Malaysia?

Try Penultimate app. And yes, there are stylus for iPad.

ok guys, need to ask if any owners hav problems connecting WiFi wif their pads. Mine just keeps saying "incorrect password" even though I triple confirm it is de right password.

Tried resetting both router n iPad but it still can't connect. Really pissed...

After sorting through de web, found loads of users having de same problem. Should I just get it exchanged? or is there something else I can do to make it work?

The correct mindset, to me at least, is not waiting for the local launch but the new FaceTime-enabled iPads that are strongly believed to be coming as soon as January 2011, although I believe they'll come more likely on April 2011, one year after the iPad launch. Why wait for Malaysian launch, buy outdated iPads when in anywhere between 1-4 months, you'll be seeing the new version of iPad?

It should be straightforward and immediate detection of wifi. Never faced such issues with mine since purchased in May'10. Never nreed to enabled any special settings , I use default. The ipad can also detect both my Dell Streak and HD2 ( Android) as wifi hotspots easily ( with password enabled). If you still having issues, possible hardware problem. What is your firmware - apparently older ones of 3.2.1 reported some have this problem. Upgrade to 3.2.2. Mine is still on 3.2.1

Added on November 4, 2010, 12:00 pmFor me from Johor Baru right up to KL no problems . Before that I was using Maxis - on highway many times, my 3G/GPRS gets disconnected . Digi I found was very stable rarely I faced any disconnect issues.

my ipad 32gb 3G served me well... not in a hurry for ipad 2

i believe the iPad 2 will have the following
1. Facetime camera
2. 512mb or 1gb ram

And hopefully retina display as well (wishful thinking)

owh btw guys , does firmware 3.2.2 ipad supports Bluetooth stereo headsets?
