Change your Itune password. Apps follow your itune account. Not Ipad.
Sorry for your lost. sad.gif

if i re-purchase another ipad in the future...this mean i will be able to use back all the apps that i have purchased before this, right?

just wondering what can the 'lucky' guy do wif my ipad?
i have installed 'DC Comic' apps inside...will that person be able to use it to purchase comic from it? i cant quite remember if it will prompt for password....same goes to Zinio and flipboard...will that guy be able to purchase mag easily? and view my facebook details?

when we first purchased our ipad, we are required to activate our ipad...
i was wondering whether i deactivate it so that the 'lucky' guy cant use my ipad? sad.gif

That is strange. This is standard iPad mail way to handle attachments. I always do it this way and is the only way from mail.  When I received a mail with PDF , I just press slightly down on the attached file. A popup menu will appear and by default it will allow me to open in iBooks or I choose other, which I have on my iPad are good reader, cloud reader, quick office

If you often received attached files in mail and you would like to have a good way to manage this, use readdledocs. In readdledocs just setup all your email accounts. All your mail attachments will be downloaded out and sorted according to your email account. From here you can then manage all your attachments
yup..i dunno why..i saw it on my fren's ipad also........ doh.gif

issit becoz i am using safari to view the attachment n not the default mail app?

readdle only works with yahoo plus ? and not normal yahoo a/c?

Economist : can't you view your attachment in mail itself. PDF files can be viewed without resorting to safari. All these while I am referring to the mail app.

Yahoo in readderdoc not too sure as I am using yahoo plus account

Yes , all apps are tied to your iTunes account.
All comics, mags etc , need to key in password to proceed. The guy will not be able to purchase any unless he know your password. Anyway it is better you now change your iTunes ID password
Yes he can view your facebook details if you have chosen to enabled cookies in your browser

The guy who got your iPad can always reset it to default . When he connect to another computer, the computer will prompt that the iPad is already being sync with another iTunes account. He will then have a choice to erase the iPad and start a new account. No matter how he can still use it

I have one question, is the ipad considered a computer in the eyes of the government? Im asking this is because im wondering if i can get my tax rebates next year or not by claiming the ipad.

The iPad is not released here yet so can the government officially say what it is? biggrin.gif Once it's released you can probably check the import documents to see what it's categorized as no?

There is no harm and not a violation of the Msia laws to claim for exemption. The worst scenario it will be rejected. I will submit mine in too to claim exemption
