hey guys

i was thinking of buying a coputer for work, i dont game and stuff. i need something that doesnt break down often, reliable and no hassle

is the MBP 13' a good choice/
*
Yup, go get it. I bought the MBP 13" on the same basis and purpose. Never regret. One thing I don't have to worry is crashing everytime I try to run 3-4 programs simultaneously. A much more stable OS.

Thank you! May I ask another question? Is the price of a MBP at an authorised reseller the same as on the Apple M'sia Store price?

Yes. But reseller might give you some freebies , If you are lucky =)

But if you are a student then you can get student price online. If you mean apple M'sia strore is the online store.

@ gurus the use of this thread is not a spoonfeed / baby thread. its supposed to be for new users to ask new questions, not questions that's already been answered before.

Thank you lexcorp, gurus and of course xaw5126 for giving me answers. Maybe I should try harder next time to get enough information before I ask something. Have yourselves a nice day.

Don't put the MBP on a cushion, blanket, towel, or similar items that retain heat.

Move the MBP to a cooler room, e.g. away from direct sunlight.

What's the spec on your MBP?

Name some programs you use regularly.

Shut down some apps, especially ones running in the background, via Activity Monitor.

Get SMCFanControl.

what else could i say bro..well said thumbup.gif

@ecVK
SMCfancontrol boost up ur fan speed and lower the temperature but according to lyn forumers, it might also reduce the life span of ur fan, why not try to let ur mbp sit on a real notebook cooler instead rolleyes.gif
