Been using MBP 13" for a month and I still need to get used to some functions but the OS has been great. Easy. Quick startup & shutdown.
I'm using iWork which is a breeze to use. Unfortunately the formatting runs when I save as MS Word. =/

There's something I need help with my Mac OS.
I was wondering if it's possible to do a "cover-flow" on all the running applications/windows that I have? Usually I just "x" or minimise them and they go to my dock, then a bit leceh to open one by one everytime. Was hoping I can just swipe the applications like cover flow or sth. |

QUOTE(+3kk! @ Sep 28 2010, 10:24 PM) hey guys Yup, go get it. I bought the MBP 13" on the same basis and purpose. Never regret. One thing I don't have to worry is crashing everytime I try to run 3-4 programs simultaneously. A much more stable OS.i was thinking of buying a coputer for work, i dont game and stuff. i need something that doesnt break down often, reliable and no hassle is the MBP 13' a good choice/ |

QUOTE(more2teayap @ Oct 24 2010, 10:04 PM) I bought one too, first a thumbdrive, then i plugged a second device, the thumbdrive ejected I have the same problem too. Whatmore, the 2 USB ports on my MBP are located so close to each other that the fat USBs can't be put together. Do post if you find a reliable one. Thanks. |

Well as long as you're a student you shouldn't have to worry about providing proof...
Surprised that Apple didn't ask for identification for this discount. Maybe they'd think everyone would provide fake student ID? |

QUOTE(Christopher7 @ Nov 10 2010, 10:03 PM) May i know why some people selling macbook stated "LATE 2008" EARLY 2010 or so... The YEAR indicates when the Macbooks were released and hence, the specifications of the Macbook models... because Macbooks carry the same name throughout regardless if they're the latest specs or old specs. does it makes different? So if you're buying 2nd hand, do ask for the specs because they're different. It's like cars. You have Honda City from way back until now. All different design and specs, but all called "Honda City". |

QUOTE(kilz @ Nov 12 2010, 10:00 AM) i asked a worker in apple store, he told me that we can find macbook air screen protector at lowyat level 2. If just the normal screen protector like those on your handphone.. I suppose you can go for the normal laptop screen protectors as well.but i don't know which store is it. I bought mine for just RM10 off a normal PC shop for my 13" MBP. If you lightly touch your screen every now and then then it protects well. Of course don't go and ketuk or scratch on purpose... |

QUOTE(SoulReaver @ Nov 13 2010, 10:31 PM) Guys, im having a little problem here, Sometimes when charge my MBA, it doesnt charge at all.. Lets say the battery percentage is at 97% it doesnt charge up. But when i unplug the power from it and let it run using the battery till around 95% (random %) and try to charge the battery up. it charges to 100%.. Don't worry it's normal for all Mac laptops...Whats happening =X Just let it go below 95% and it'll go back up to 100%. |

QUOTE(JustcallmeLarry @ Jan 21 2011, 08:33 PM) Hi guys anyone here bought a MacBook using the education discount? Wta you must own a credit card to buy or can you just call up order what you want then just bank the money to apple? I bought it using my Maybank Debit Card.. (which I use for all my Apple Store purchases). They did not ask for any identification. I am a genuine student.I live in Subang so my laptop was delivered pretty quickly. Early by 2 days from the estimated time of arrival. |

QUOTE(monked @ Jan 27 2011, 09:34 PM) may I know what makes u all pour in so much for a Macbook? The Spec is not that great thou? the price is More stable and reliable. Specs - I go with what I'm happy with.Macbook user-wannabe here Sick of Windows crashing on me. Spent RM 3999 to buy the latest Sony Vaio (at that time). After a couple of downloads it start to lag (despite 4gb RAM and 320 gb HDD) and eventually crash after 6 months. Spent RM 3599++ on a Mac with the same specs and it's still as fast and as smooth as the first day I bought it (7 months now). Will never go back to Windows. |
