dun care la... your battery warranty is 1 year from date of purchase. so if within 1 year, you can claim if its less than expected.

read more at apple.com/batteries.

IINM, you'll need a mac mini to do that. cos the gfx card in your macbook is linked to the internal LCD and the mini displayport, so that's a dual-display there... even if one is powered down, IIRC, there's nowhere to connect the second display for triple-display smile.gif

@elfreakz
most LCD have only one 'native' resolution, and if you use any other resolution... the image will be blur.

the native resolution is a 1:1 ... any others involve combining ... that's why its blur.

your HP 2009f resolution (according to google) is 1600 * 900 ... so go to System Preferences > Display > VGA display and select 1600 * 900 ...

nothing to do with the cables. since you have 2 screens with different size & resolutions, its impossible to mirror 1:1 ...

incorrect. according to Steve Jobs, wireless productivity (not games & not video / photo editing) ... you should get around 5 hours.

do run some battery tests, and get the technician to do a battery test.

@ gurus the use of this thread is not a spoonfeed / baby thread. its supposed to be for new users to ask new questions, not questions that's already been answered before.

@JasonSky its not trivial to take apart, much less re-assemble a 2010 MBA, and Apple usually doesn't sell the CTO parts separately.

the MBA 2010 SSD is a custom engineered board, so off-the-shelf SSD will not only not fit, they also probably will not work.

anyone feel like spending RM5K to prove me wrong? biggrin.gif

@bzbody : that's a new one. what specifically do you find a PITA?

according to the official system requirements Windows 7 should run fine on MacBook Air 2010.

Don't forget to read thru the Boot Camp guide before doing anything.

@bzbody : www.apple.com/findouthow ... your keyboard is labeled, you know. command n option keys are on your bottom row.

HDD, CDROM n other external media will appear on the desktop when correctly connected. you can also click the Finder (first icon on the Dock) to view your drives (network drives as well)
