hmm, for some reasons, my ssd sometimes take 9 seconds(counted with clock) to open up word... 9 seconds was what it toke me to open up my word when i was using the conventional 5400rpm hdd

Anyone knows whats going on? it is really unusual for this to happen....

normal time is usually 2-3 seconds.

and i havent even used it for a month.... explanation??? anyone??

Why do you say it's unusual for the SSD to take 9 seconds to open Word? Was it faster before?

it'd be better if you could elaborate what do u mean by "cannot read". did an error pop up? what did it say? what's the extension of the disc image....dmg? iso?

- antiglare screen protector if u cannot stand the glare
- palmrest protector if u wear metal watch / sweat a lot. try moshi palmguard
- keyboard protector is a must if u eat/smoke in front of ur mbp. silicone types attract dust n too 'smooth' to type, can try moshi clearguard
- invisible shield / speck casing to protect against scratches
- a good, padded laptop bag
- kensington lock, make sure it's easy to use n carry. else u wont use it
- not an accessory, but i'll recommend anyway: applecare protection plan

yes it comes with 1 year warranty. however, phone support is only for 90 days

you can buy ACPP to extend your warranty another two years, but you must activate within the 1 year warranty. if your 1 yr warranty is up, you're not eligible for the extended warranty anymore

if u plan to get one, better buy from apple online store or any resellers, which come with the box and everything. there are people selling ACPP in forums etc but it's hard to know whether they're genuine or not

get a keyboard protector taht has ventilation holes, for me a keyboard protector is a no no, cause the keyboard is where the heat dispenses, if you cover it up then your machine will overheat.

i'd prefer to say ACPP is a must wink.gif

oh, may i add Moshi Trackguard(for your track pad). maybe it's just me, but i found out that if my fingers are not completely dry or just slightly moistened, i could not glide/swipe or perform those gesture smoothly. the glass is too smooth so i bought Moshi Trackpad, which is like a matte kinda surface. it works very well to me. the only complaint is that, it reduces the sensitivity a lil', but i'm a happy man laugh.gif
