Anybody use DiGi broadband with Mac and play SC2? My digi bb disconnected and prompt a network error message box whenever the temperature hit 80 degree celsius. SC2 is utilizing 80-100% cpu usage thus the temp. is very high, is it normal on Mac?

After digi disconnected, I can't redial/reconnect, it just prompt an empty error message box. I have to unplug the usb modem and re-plug it in to reconnect.

I thought it's my Macbook problem, so I try to play SC2 on my Mac mini, same issue, digi disconnected when the Mac temp. is high sad.gif

It's just your Mac saving itself. Are you playing the game on OSX or Windows? I ask because OpenGL is far inferior - and thus more resource intensive - than DirectX for game rendering.

it could be overheating issue with the FPS bug in SC2. refer to this http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1507362

^ ur MBP has an LED backlit display. im not sure how long is the lifespan but it's really really really long. dun worry about it smile.gif

ur Dell (and older macbooks) was using CCFL tech, which gets worse after a lot of usage.

my 1.5 year old led-backlit mbp is as bright as a new unit

I've recently put in a 160gb SSD into my MBP, start up not much diff though. One thing for sure, there is a sudden lag, like lack of memory or something. Everything slow down, DVD become slow mo.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this ?

Hi guys, any thoughts on the MacBook on whether it can be a replacement for home use? MSN, Youtube/Facebook, and also wondering if it's suitable for video editing + music production (GarageBand i believe?). I'm on a low budget, and RM3659 (upgrade to 4gb ram) is reasonable to me.

I'm actually not sure whether a few hundred ringgit over the Mac Mini is worth the portability of the Macbook.. I don't really go out alot, but the portability would help sometimes..

Mac sifus please help me!

To uninstall apps, simply drag your application to trash from your application folder.

How to write chinese? See the top right there with an american flag? Click it and choose Chinese - Simplified.

I'm using my Macbook with attached LCD as my prior gadget. All the MSN, youtube/Facebook, video editing, blah blah blah are all doing on my mac. With a LCD attached, it just like a desktop for me. On it once i woke up every morning and off it every night before my sleep. Portability is the key that i've purchased Macbook too. Is that fullfill your needs? hehe
