Nope. After the contract expires, if you unsubscribe HD, the Byond decoder remains with you. The decoder change applies only when you stop subscribing to the PVR. They will take it back and replace with Byond decoder. I believe in the long term, when they finally recover the costs of HD migration, everyone will get Byond decoder and the old decoder will be phased out, regardless of HD subscription.

Yes, since last month Astro mention MyStory channel.

Unfortunately CH 318 is not in HD

It's not too bad, Astro doing in house broadcast for BPL this year. Now we have two sets of pundits, Astro's and ESPN's. We can watch ESPN's pre shows then switch to ASSP for the live game.

ASSP HD pundits make me sleepy.
But better than last season when we got nothing.

Today when I watching astro, or I think since last 1 or 2 hours, my byond will show channel information after few minutes, is it any body facing this problem? As I know when they first launched, it will show every 30 or 60 minutes. If the banner information still appear, is it any way to solve it?

but no more sky sports comentators la..thise whi have watched BPL for a long time will be missing the x factor some way..

astro supersports studio is sooooooooooo fugly..really hate it

They are carrying the govt like crazy confirm they wld get things thier way, they hv the power now to tell the govt dont scrap UPSR cos assto got UPSR Tutor mah !! MS is a gimmick and smartly placed among chines channels !

this is after 10 years

how much did it cost to put those satellites up there?
don't forget continuously paying for all those TV programmes especially latest stuff like Idol, Survivor and especially EPL (could be up to US50 mil for 3 years)

I'm not saying they are not making $... after all it's a business and if you don't want to subscribe it's your choice

Ya, I have that too and I thought my universal remote gone hair wire....luckily not...

Err..there's no ESPN pre-show on both matches screened by Supersport (Chelsea v W.Brom & Lpool v Arsenal).

It's bonkers really the current arrangement. ESPN/Star has the full schedule of "big" matches but Astro retain the right not to show this on ESPN. Apart from the appalling pundits (Peter Barnes?) who don't really give much analysis at all (Example...Joe Cole's red card last night, instead of repeating that it's a harsh decision, McMahon or Serbie would have said what was Joe Cole doing tackling a defender in the opposition's half?). Any match shown on Supersport will not get the commentary feed from Sky Sports thus last night's match (Lpool v Arsenal), we didn't get the Martin Tyler/Andy Gray commentaries. Jason Dasey is OK but it would help him if his pundits were more "analytical". Get Serbie back to Astro for goodness sake. At least he's more analytical though sometimes we may not agree with his opinion but that's the nature of a football pundit not someone who repeats or say something most already know.

First weekend of BPL coverage on Supersport was disappointing to say the least!

luckily tonight MU match will be on ESPN/ESPN HD.. watching Sunderland vs Birmingham on ASSPHD now and noticed flicks quite frequently.. never experience this before.. anyone else got this issue? its quite annoying
