You can use the Astro Byond Remote Control to control the Volume and AV Input of some of the Plasma and LCD - just in case you're not aware. Call Astro Customer Service to find out.

All details are inside the Asstro Byond user manual there.

I have set it long time ago since January and until now, never reset it at all, therefore, forgot all the steps already.

You follow the steps in the manual and it will automatically search for the manufacturer code, if it can and if it found.

To clarify the questions.....mio TV is a IPTV Operator in S'pore. Starhub lost BPL rights to Singtel mio TV and they are supposed to run their mio Stadium Channels on their own .....however, they commisioned the channels to a 3rd party IMG Sports Media to run the channels for them. John Dykesm Patrick Kinghorn, Jason Dasey etc. has all left ESPN STAR hence you see them appearing in London, S'pore or Malaysia respectively.

When 'Live' matches are on, they go to the London studios. Magazine shows are produced locally by IMG Sports who has a small production facility.

As paying subscribers, Astro should not short-changed viewers by cutting edges on production....my 2 cents.

yeah i know who has PVR can fast forward..but those who dont will have to suffer watching the half naked Jay Menon talking bout football when all she knows is on a piece of paper..before this football no need half naked girl..n that was ESPN STAR SPORTS based in Singapore..now Malaysia's Astro somehow think football fans want top watch 'footballs' of half naked girls..DISGUSTING!!!

Added on August 18, 2010, 1:00 amLast night Martin Tyler was working for the Premier League channel..not for Sky Sports hence why we got his voice for commentary..
Easy to detect Sky Sports audio feed or not..when we go to replays, there will be a 'swoosh' sound effect accompanying the 'GOAL' logo..or when normal replay it will accompany the BPL trophy logo..right now we dont get that sound effect so not Sky Sports audio feed..

How come Astro b'yond sending 5.1 dolby digital signal but the program is in 2ch stereo?

This is for the Zhi Zun HD TVB drama, the original is 2ch DD but b.yond send as 5.1 DD, so my AVR cannot apply any processing to it and only my L/R channel got sound

Other SD channel no problem, received as 2.0 and I can apply the THX Cinema / PLIIx to it with sound from all speakers coming out....

Someone on Astro FB said that Astro is upgrading the system, since the current NDS system is "hackable" with Dreambox.
