First of all, how many characters are wrong?

I did numerous correction before with AA and very simple. Just goto AA website tomorrow morning and find Live Help Chat.
Make sure you prepare your booking number. Once reach your turn, tell him/her what went wrong and the correction that you wanna make.
Im not really sure if they also limit the number of numeric alteration that you can make before charging you extra.
I usually make name correction and was being told I can only change up to 3 characters. Anything more, there would be additional charges.

international flight can show up 1 hour before departing ?

normally they need us to be in air port 2 hour before flight...

i tried twice showing up 1.5 hour before the flight everything still ok...

any bro can share their experience so i dont need wait for that long

usually, the earlier u book, the cheaper it is. eg; 0 fare, low fare.
and it gets more expensive if u book later. but sometimes, they do have last min offers ; eg fliday, las min getaways etc. Which, sometimes MAY be cheaper than those who had booked earlier

You should use Fireflyz if you want to fly from Subang airport.. AA flies to/from LCCT only.

Can anyone advice how does the self web check in works for AA flights? Say if I check in from AA's website, where do I get the boarding pass? do I still need to queue up at the counter to get the boarding pass and also to check in the luggage? Quite confused of myself

When u web check in, u print the boarding pass.
Take it along with u, go to baggage drop counter: show your boarding pass which will be stamped,
drop your bag and u are good to go.

Hi ALL AA SIFUS, I will travel from KCH to KUL this coming 10th MAC and the arrival stated is at 2050. My next flight is KUL to PEN at 2150. I plan to Web Check In for both flight and waiting in the LCCT boarding terminal.

My question is
1) Can I wait inside the terminal without going out to arrival hall at LCCT becoz this is my first time at LCCT

2) Any sifus have experienced like this kindly shared yours...

WAH.VERY VERY Risky

consider this situation
1. flight delay, flight from kuching reached late
2. Boarding gate closes 30mins? for domestic departure
3. Time wasted, need to wait to collect check in bag (if u hav it)

man, my advise, better spare a leeway of at least 3hours btwn flights

Connecting flights need to be minimum 4 hours especially for AirAsia which is prone to DELAYS... you will 90% miss the KUL-PEN flight.

I travel at least once a month and use flights all the way to travel. A bit annoying when AA started to charge one after another. They start with food, then petrol surcharce, after that excess baggage. Now they limit the bag weight to 7kg.. MAS and Firefly can provide excess baggage up to 20 kg.

My laptop alone weighted 2kg, the other 5kg easily goes to all my clothes and etc. Bag of my wife can easily go up to 10kg every time we go back to hometown even for only two days.

I would usually search all three airlines for cheapest tickets and yes usually AA will offer the cheapest but if price differentiation with FF and MAS is around rm30-rm40, I would surely go for them.

Is it just me?

do not be confused with the 7kg. 7kg= carry in baggage. I believed it's the same weightage/size allowed for Fireflyz/AA

20kg= is what u hav 2 pay for check in baggage. Regardless AA or fireflyz

Yes 7kg is for carry in baggage, and I tend to put laptop and clothes in one bag. easy to carry. I only use ipod during flights so no need to put laptop and clothes in different bag.

20kg for check in baggage is free inclusive for MAS and FF ticket prices, but not AA. You need to pay at least rm15 for at least 15kg for check in baggage.
