I'm sure the current AA thread has already mention about this. I've also mentioned about it when I flew to NZ and back.

Going that time I book Hot Seat, very comfy. They don't provide anything unless you pre-book your meals and other stuff.
Coming back I didn't book Hot Seat and just sat at the usual economy seat without paying for extra. Nothing much, just the space between seats a little smaller but almost similar to usual full airlines economy seats.

For my NZ flights, I pre-book my meals, which was around RM40 (KL-NZ) and RM70 (NZ-KL). This includes two meals on board with two bottles of water each person. You can also pre-book your in-flight entertainment and comfort set thingy. I'm not sure how much since I didn't use them. Of course you can always pay and get it on the spot but it's more expensive as usual.

If you're asking what do they provide for free? Then NOTHING, you can visit the toilet for free though. Water also have to buy.

Well said.

Got a ticket to Tokyo next month back in Feb. However, I stupidly choose Malaysian Food and didn't realise what it was.

Found out today that it's Nasi Lemak and I don't & have never eaten Nasi Lemak my whole life.

Managed to change the food to International instead - no extra charge!! biggrin.gif

Nasi lemak the best? Hmm. To me Beriani Veg is the best! Beriani Ayam also acceptable.

Was it a promo ticket or regular ticket?
Best is to contact them and they'll go thru the procedures with you. Facebook/Twitter might be a better option than calling. smile.gif

you can try email them and see whether can change or not. I tried before and they change without extra charges

PS : Make sure you state as if it's not your fault =P

It depends on what ticket you got. If it's a promo one, usually you can't really make any changes without paying a fee, but if regular ones, it's more flexible.

Mine was promo. But somehow i book wrongly the time (date is correct) so i requested to change time for free as the system was refreshed somehow during my booking.

After much email and blaming, I managed to get it done courtesy of goodwill from Airasia

Why? Did you read properly when they ask you whether you are sure or not in cancelling the AA insure?

Yes, you can. Provided your hand luggage/laptop bag do not exceed the handcarry size requirement
