Hi peeps, I in dire need of help currently. I have just book a flight ticket to Singapore (not from the RM3 sale) this Sep weekend trip.

Suppose to depart on 10 Sep and return on 11 Sep. Hence depart on 10 Sep early morning 0630 and plan to come back on 2120 on 11 Sep.

Somehow think the system jam up (due to the RM3 sale) and it refreshes my browser and it help me auto reselect the earliest trip 0720 on 11 Sep instead.

But seeing the price the same (partly my fault for not checking the time again), I proceeded to check out and from the itinerary only i notice the time difference doh.gif

any chance for me to change the flight ticket without any extra charges as i consider detect it early but the call line only open 7am cry.gif

To change the time need me to fork out another RM100 each as I'm going in a group. icon_question.gif Anyone manage to get a free change of time before for such scenario?

I have encountered this problem before. Air Asia auto selected the time for my friend and I. What we did was to call up and explain to the operator and demand for the change of the flight time. Because it's not our fault as we have gone through the process again and again. Later, the operator checked back their system and changed the flight time for us to the latest flight smile.gif

I called the Air asia toll line, they ask me to try submit the E-form and see as they say if the change at call centre need to pay the charges fees.

I'll try my luck and see, hopefully there's good news *fingers cross*

Anyone submitted the E-form for air asia before? Normally how long it takes to reply?

I know it stated there 5 working days but i'm afraid the longer it delay, the harder for me to change my flight time without any additional charges.

Update on my scenario :

Submitted the E form on Monday early morning to hi-lite the problem. They agree to change the flight time without any additional cost. thumbup.gif

Good customer service, but i thought quite low chance at 1st, when they reply on my first inquiry saying that they'll consider my request (change flight time without added cost) on a gesture of good will, thinking is a good way to say no.

Btw, anyone know what's the cost of parking if I decided to park there on Sat early morning till Sunday night? Thanks

It depends on what ticket you got. If it's a promo one, usually you can't really make any changes without paying a fee, but if regular ones, it's more flexible.
*
Mine was promo. But somehow i book wrongly the time (date is correct) so i requested to change time for free as the system was refreshed somehow during my booking.

After much email and blaming, I managed to get it done courtesy of goodwill from Airasia

*
Yes, you can. Provided your hand luggage/laptop bag do not exceed the handcarry size requirement

Since we are in this topic, mind if I ask if I were to carry a laptop bag without laptop (can say it's like back pack). Can I still carry another hand luggage then?

Do I need to update my passenger details since I only bought the tickets using their DOB.

I'm going Singapore next week via AA. So do I need to update the passenger details? Or I can just check in accordingly?

QUOTE(keelim @ Sep 20 2011, 10:02 AM)
MY passport is expiring (July 2012) and I intend to book a flight on June 2012. I haven’t got my passport renew and would probably do so in a week time. So my questions is:-

1) Does AA allow me to book my intended trip in June 2012 using my current passport?
2) Can I change my passport details upon getting a renewal especially when I purchased a Promo ticket in this case?

Please help. Thanks.

Added on September 20, 2011, 10:10 amI tried booking on AA website. It prompted a sorry note and advised that I should have a 6 months validity passport to travel. However, it allows me to proceed up to the CC payment.

Anyone experience such problem before?
*
You do not need passport to purchase, just DOB will do. But you'll need to update your passport before boarding the plane (with the passport eligible of course)

Looks like Air Asia just did away with the Waiting room... smooth sail to bookings now =)

think because most of the cheap flights already been fully booked. Less people buying tickets now
