well technically, PvT would not go colossus-VR... u wont be able to support it (especially low gateway count where marauders can jz stim and kill ur colossus downright) and it is damn immobile... colossus-phoenix is the better one off 3 base (2 stargate)...
thus, u should not ever be concern about VR colossus deathball... viking wit micro will tear tat composition into pieces with some micro...

Some Toss players will go for stalkers, immortals and void rays against Terran players who would go for 1/1/1 build and walling off the entrance, thus resulting the vr to charge up the buildings, with stalkers and or immortal supporting the vr, really annoying.

again& again, all the units combination u guys mentioned doesnt seem possible to get in a normal game, it is surely ur fault somewhere if the toss can come out with stalkers ,void rays and immortals outside ur walled in 1 base.
However, yeah it is one of the way(voidray) for the protoss to counter terran who wall in, i've avoided wall in using buildings like rax or supply nowadays, although 100 or 150 mineral might be cheap but it is annoying to lose 2 supply and get supply blocked or a rax, probably ur 1st rax with addons or even worse, with upgrades still pending.

actually it didn't happen to me. I saw it happen during a replay. But yeah, with proper timing push and harassment, Terran should be able to prevent Toss from getting deathballs. I'm still mid bronze, so MMM works pretty well against everything. still learning to standardize my build orders.

well, start from now, learn not to wall in. wall in is a nett lost of mining time and it matters. another reason not to wall in early vs toss is to avoid losing ur 1st supply depot to proxy gateway

Supply depots and Addons (tech labs & reactors) are so vulnerable. In TvT matchups I usually target them first when I attack

moreover terran wall in is very vulnerable to scouting probe harrass....even if you can swap building scv perfectly fine, you are wasting 2 scv mining time.......its just too expensive to get the wall up and you are exposed to too many unnecessary danger.

someone just 4 starport me off 2 base in a tvt. i was caught off guard. tho i won the game, i still think its a pretty sleek strategy.....lol
he went blue flame hellion vikings and cloak banshee only. IMO if refined, its pretty baller haha cuz its mobile and blue flame hellion clears all marine.

lol, i played almost full time on NA but this is the 1st time someone tried it on me. o.o
owh well, i was well prepared for it because the 6 min scan i saw his hellions and starport producing medivac, and after 50 mana i scan again, i saw him researching cloak. i went 1 rax FE vs this strat and suffering 0 damage so its pretty hard for me to lose that game even if he go something crazy....

hi all! long time no post! with the coming season2, i present you a showcase of how OP MMM is played by yours truly: http://www.quazacolt.com/starcraft2/replay...vored.SC2Replayits a diamond random 2v2, opponents are slightly favored, my ally was in despair and quit early, leaving me with only a bit of gas and few hundred minerals and an observer (this little guy helped the most!) while his base got demolished early. granted, enemy terran was a total noob (or so it seems, if hes just trollin, thats his problem, not mine. and he totally deserved the lost) only MMM + scans/observer. nothing else. 1 base play (though i got 2nd cc up almost end of game) owning a protoss thats loaded with imm/stalker/sentry/zealot with 2 bases, and a terran with massed marines/ghost. A SHAMEFUR DISPRAY
