agreed that hellions is the best counter for lings and banes, but if roach and muta, will make hellion useless.
marine is more like all rounder. i prefer to use marine as base unit, then couple with otehr unit depends on enemy composition.

Thor need more micro to counter muta as in thor is slow and muta is fast.

ah!!! cant believe i just lost to a toss with canon rush. my mistakes was after my 1st marine i go for tech lab for maru, end up cant stop in time. and get scolded saying noob, i offered him a rematch but he refuse and the reason he gv was he dun play with noobs. MAD!!!

jz lift off man lol...

try watching starcrap by IGN episode 2...
the number 1 play was the terran getting cannon rushed, so he lift off and fly to the protoss base with his scvs and start making it his base lolx

thors are mostly for zoning (especially when u are running away/ splitting from blings) and forcing the mutas to magic box...
marines > magic box mutas...

and i cant beleive some1 actually mentioned that mutas > marines =.=
marines are the most cost effective answer to mutas...
the only problem u may face is the hit and run which is why u get thors for zoning preventing them to do such...
upgraded marines (with some heals) shred equal number of mutas with ease...

Your overlord supplies is at 6/10 and you build a spawning pool
7 Roaches = 7 roaches rush.

7 roach rush can be defended with a good bunker placement behind barrack and 2 supply depot wall off. along with 5-6 repairing scvs, it could be better if u manage to throw down 2 bunkers. a good number of marines still counter roach.

6 pool means build spawning pool when drone count at 6.
make roach den at 7th drone.

risk is.. if people rush you, your fcuked. But zerg to zerg cant rush cause the drone can kill the lings easily except when they upgrade it to speedlings.
protoss can cannon cheese you since they will send probe to scout. Terren will never rush a zerg. 100% they will wall-in and prepare for zerg rush or attack after geting a lot of MMM and tanks.

Unless he baneling the front door before moving in with roach with speedling mixed. But mass lings and baneling is enough to break the bunker/supply/barrck wall-ins.

What is the advantage of making 6 no. of pools? So when one of your pools get destroyed by Terran drop you still can produce zerglings. This is a viable strat vs mma.

when zergs are banking late game, it is something really good to do...
remember july vs mvp?
when july was doing his insane remax agression off 3 base, his pool was sniped thus he couldnt remax with 2-2 lings and lost the game =(
