2 rax marine all in cant kill early speed.......im actually bottlenecked tvz when they go fast speed to protect fast hatch...

any replays for this strategy?

It's a very common strategy. I don't think I dig up a replay right now. But what you do is just use a pylon to block the zerg's entrance so he can't expand. And throw a couple of cannons behind to hold it off longer.

err....in higher level, if zerg is going hatch 1st, then you put down 2 pylon to block the ramp right after the hatchery pops out. then throw down a forge at your main and cannon up. it will 70% force a 1 base roach bust...as zergling takes quite some time and lots of casualty to bust the ramp...then open with immortal and its instawin XD

theorycrafting as im only a spectator of pvz

u can look at most NA toss replays...
they do this alot (not much on the korean side)...

u can delay the zerg expo by putting 1 pylon at that spot (or if u are terran a 90% completed ebay so u can cancel it back for 75 minerals lol)...
or u can double pylon below his ramp with cannons (or if u are terran double bunker)...

of course while doing that beware of nydus...
this opponent is really weak against nydus and we saw so many toss died to nydus...

Yea I fell prey to the nydus quite a few times.
Now I always make sure I pylon all around my base just to be safe.

But then in one game, I forgot to block my front properly and he just rushed in from my front lines instead of through a nydus...
That was after a week long break from SC2.

that's the weakness of the build...
u gotta be very defensive after that both ur front and possible nydus behind as ur gate would be much slower...

Today I was surprise when i woke up at 4am! so i started playing ladder as usual lol!

was pretty blur and tired but thank god it wasnt my 1st match because i made so many mistakes im off to have some breakfast n freshen up and off to work!

Yea. I forgot about the sentry that round, so he easily went up the ramp to my main base.
Must never forget the sentry again...

hey bro haha i just saw the replay at times i can be really noob at times.. anyways im not really good so hahah... I jsut saw two starports in his base n reacted with obs n stalkers n ht.. i guess i shud have went nix.. instead of those..

for me i only find nix as a counter to tanks in pvt i guess ive seen a bigger picture now haha thank god it isnt in a tournament or not i would have lost!

korean pros has been experimenting with stargate openings nowadays...
u can get phoenixes out faster than banshee now and with that u can spot if there's a tech-lab starport to prepare for obs...
if they are not careful, u can even snipe the banshee/ raven (especially since patch 1.2 will be buffing phoenix build time)...

2 base pheonix build can be more deadly than robo tech o.o im having a hard time playing against that......toss basically keep me on my foot with 4-5 pheonix sniping my scv and lone tanks then 1 big push of collo stalker....*to react to pheonix harrass i committed too much to marine thor vikings hence no good composition to defend.....*

Procobo raped me with that build on jungle basin. o.o watched the replay and was so speechless i dno wat i can improve......bottleneck T.T
