Thanks for the input haha I didnt know pheonix could make so many difference.. anyways the new thing is tank raven medi marines now -.-

i never like collo because they are the easiest counter either mass vikings or corruptors would do the job easily.. sad.gif vikings can land down n corruptors can has the ability to increasing incoming damage by 20% to a unit


When you guys talk about pheonix do you mean 2 star gates?

i usually do 1 stargate as based on what i've scouted, i can go VR (if he wall) or go phoenix with chrono (1 base cant support 2 stargate phoenix with chrono btw so i dun really like doing that on 1 base)...
i'll couple that with 2-3 gates usually...

i dun really rush colossus as well...
they are more to my late game units (when i'm on 2 base or 3 base) as u still need them for their sustained DPS in the end and they work great with storms...
but since usually u need robo for obs, they are a pretty decent transition...

i think 1 stargate with chrono is sufficient to harrass mineral line + scouting...2 stargate might be too much of a commitment to 1 tech....if your pheonix survives, they can protect the collosus at late game. pretty smooth transition from 1 star 2/3 gate to collo/pheonix....all off 2 base of course... -.- 1 base protoss cant do much other than all ins *troll face*

well u are correct...
i rarely stick to 1 base...
all my match ups revolve around 2 base play at least...
since toss on 1 base cant support the gas requirements (unless PvP going 3gateblinks)

It is useful if you go for it on early stage, not that useful in mid to late game.

its good to harass at keep the terran in his base till he get detector while wasting scans

its too expensive....until i think only in a blind DT rush, DT can be useful.

have to scout.. always scout.. like me as a zerg player, when i didnt notice, DT's are here to harass drones while my Overseer still wondering around when i wanna initiate nydus..

You can actually mix in DT in the big deciding battle of the game. Most of the time enemy will not notice it till it has done serious damage to give you the advantage.

I really like how ogsmc used DTs against tslrain on lost temple, you guys should check it out!

i think dt mixing in huge army may work for low diamonds n below

nt really...
a good player would knw about dt by just listening to the slashing sound...
i can even spot ripples and warm my teammates during out team games...
with enough experience, u rarely die to DT unless it is a BO lost though banshee are the opposite as they can fly with 6 range =(

Well, im paranoid..and it does help guard my ramp or expansion.

If you put the cannon on the high ground and ff well, the cannon usually racks up many kills. works well against MM rush

captain obvious pheonix will be a btr choice cuz BL cant hit air but sometimes player will choose to go blink stalker because they are already massing gateway. (it will be too late and expensive to go stargate)
