download md5sum apps to check.....
calculate the md5 value then compare to those provide by the supplier...

There is a "rumor" about it coming in at the end of September. Still no news from HTC SEA. All they will say is "wait and be informed". LOL...Just root it. Its fun!

wtf.... end of September? I think I am not gonna wait for it forever. Time to ROOT my desire this weekend. Need to do research first before I root it - A2SD, A2SD+, cold card, etc, etc all these terms and all the different favours of ROM make me .

Do not need to use Gold Card. Its a rooting for the old method. Just use unrevoked. Its easy and hassle free The most difficult choice is picking the right ROM for u

There isn't actually much to be worried about. Making partition is very easy. Its just download ROM Manager, select the partition size and you are ready to go. You cant even select the partition type

To be honest, the danger is really very minimal. I bootloop mine a couple of times already but all you need is confidence to do it Most of the custom ROMs like NextSense have A2SD+. And yes, A2SD+ needs the EXT3 partition or else its pretty much like the native APP2SD. Look into the first post for the ways to root your phone and flash ROM. Its explained very clearly for step by step and if you follow it, it will be done in no time

if u want sense, modaco r8 is quite good and stable. no sense try the latest nightly cyanogenmod 08182010 it's now has better battery life, coz the OJ bugs should be fixed by now.

Exactly. On paper, R8 seems to be the best out there for Sense FroYo. Too bad i don't have a premium account to test it out
