Guys..need your assistance to tell me step by step how to root my desire. I saw in the forum but some how it just too complicated and scare that it may brick my phone. Any simple way to do it?

How to flash Fyoyo 2.2 with my AP set desire? I want simplest way to do the update . Prefer manual style

Thanks for the quick info. I think I have boot 0.92 and I have updated manually to Froyo 2.2. Thought of getting some expert here to enhance and guide me all the way to root my device now.
