guys need help here. I flashed NexTSense 5.3 now(full wipe, formatted my SD and such), coming form 5.1..
1) Done my ext partition like i did using ROM manager before, but this time whenever i rebooted my phones, my widgets are gone(it is still installed in the system and i can enter the settings, but when want to add widget to home its not there), i had to uninstall and install back to make it appear, then rebooted and the widgets gone again! 2) and btw any software you guys use to backup call logs? tried mybackup pro but it restored with unknown names though i've restored my contacts already. 3)any other good calendar apps? my stock calendar is broken! i flashed the smocked widgets and not my calendar always FC on me. Need a temporary calendar before i fix it(or someone can help me on that~~) Thanks! |

QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Aug 17 2010, 05:08 AM) hehe done! its still in the ext partition and working great now! I did check the quickoffice version, but it doesn't appear to be "pro" versionnow i have problems with number 2 and 3 only. @Samurai - do you experience any FC after using the quickoffice pro for awhile? I suspect it gets replaced already by the titanium restore |

Best explanation on A2SD vs A2SD+ that I've read so far:
A2SD+ Lives quite Happily with FroyoA2SD. You can use the A2SD+ ROM just fine even without a partitioned SD card. The A2SD section of the kernel will now simply go "Hey, there isn't an SDEXT partition. oh well. fat lot of good I am, then!" and then let Froyo handle it. FroyoA2SD Installs Apps to the Phone's NAND by default. Apps have to be specifically CODED to allow to be moved to the SD Card. ModInstallLocation Can override this, and allow all apps to be force-installed to FroyoA2SD. HOWEVER, apps with Widgets will break if you plug the phone in for data transfer, as it mounts the SD card, and then bad stuff happens to the phone. A2SD+ Fixes this issue, as the card remains mounted On Both the PC AND the phone, the Fat32 partition being unmounted for PC use, and SDEXT remaining mounted on the card. this DOES however, slow the card down. which is why it's reccomended to get a High Class SD Card (The reccommended is Class6, but they are very expensive) to compensate for the slowdown. Shot this at a coffee shop in Kuching. The owner must be a HTC fan...
![]() Added on August 17, 2010, 9:42 amHi guys, is it normal that Desire heats up so quickly? Even juz doing a tethering will heat up the phone so much. The lower part of the phone (not the battery area) always heats up. The worst when using GPS. This post has been edited by dracozz: Aug 17 2010, 09:42 AM |

Just flashed from NextSense 5.3 back to Modaco stock. For some reason, i am having loads of trouble with it.
- I cant RUU back directly to stock Eclair with NextSense. It always fail. Need to flash to Modaco then only can RUU back. - I cant start my camera app even with the latest .20 radio. It keeps saying could not access my SD card but my SD card is ok, as well as partitioned with ROM Manager. - I cant download stuff from the Market using 3G line. Downloading via WiFi is ok and i can even surf the internet using 3G line. However, downloading stuff from there keep saying unsuccessful. - And i have a couple of bootloop when i try to reflash again. Gotta stick with Modaco for now |

QUOTE(KTCY @ Aug 17 2010, 10:46 AM) Yes, i did everything i could. Its either something went wrong when i was flashing or my next suspect would be an almost faulty SD card. Gonna try get another SD and test whether working or not |
