Use AsusWRT-Merlin lah bro.
More features & enhancements over the official ASUS firmware.

Been using it for months now, very stable.

Here's a screenshot of AsusWRT-Merlin 378.50 on my RT-N16. (Huge picture, click on the spoiler)

Remember to reset the router to factory setting before flashing. Different version of firmware (376 vs 378).

And yes, you'll have to start all over again. Don't ever restore settings you saved from ASUS official firmware.

AsusMy, I'm using RT-N12 D1 for Unifi. Recently upgraded to 10mbps but the speed capped at 5mbps. Had to use back the original router from TM to have 10mbps. Anything I need to do on the router to enjoy full speed?

guys, im using N56U, and i have 2 IP camera connected to it, one at the front and one at the back of my house, im having trouble in placing my router that is optimum for both my camera, either one of the camera will get signal loss. I was thinking to get another high power router e.g RT-N14UHP to work as range extender, is it advisable? Or should i straight away change my 56U to 14UHP?

Is RT-N18U better than RT-N56U? I saw someone listed down the comparision between these 2 routers and RT-N18U looks like better deal.

RT-N18U - Broadcom 800MHz

RAM:
RT-N56U - 128MB DDR2
RT-N18U - 256MB DDR3

Flash:
RT-N56U - 8MB
RT-N18U - 128MB

USB:
RT-N56U - 2 x USB 2.0
RT-N18U - 1 USB 3.0 + 1 USB 2.0

WiFi Antennas:
RT-N56U - Non-upgradeable internal antennas
