Please check that you got install any program such as idm or meaasger or any BT program that capable to run background internet for upload or download.

or any others user connect true your computer for the internet connection.

Try to seek the IT Professional on Antivirus, Trojen Horse, Worm and so on.

The easy way is to Format your computer and don't simply install the online freeware that not sure is thread or goods.

Don't go porn websites or any hacker websites.

Don't allow install unknow activeX in your internet browser.

You may install the AVG Firewall Free Edition for additional protection.

For your advice, if you are not around, better that you off your Internet connection if your Firewall not strong enough.

This will reduce your computer been hack or your bandwidth leakage.

Thanks!
The photo hosting site was down yesterday.
Now all links working again.

Is the connector the same as on your laptop wifi card?
Picture not very clear.
If it is, salvage the wires from a laptop and make your own antenna.
So nice of the manufacturer to provide an opening for your external antenna. smile.gif

Im not sure th epigtail connector is it same as laptop wifi card, but you can try if you have. yes, i think this is the original design, purpose for you attach external antenna, just like motorola have external antenna for their wimax usb modem.

sorry, this is take by my 2mp camera, is not clear.

Trojan horses can be installed through the following methods:
    * Software downloads
    * Bundling (e.g. a Trojan horse included as part of a software application downloaded from a file sharing network)
    * Email attachments
    * Websites containing executable content (e.g., a Trojan horse in the form of an ActiveX control)[4]
    * Application exploits (e.g., flaws in a Web browser, media player, instant-messaging client, or other software that can be exploited to allow installation of a Trojan horse)

I don't think antivirus or Internet security suites(software) is 100% effective against all type of malware out there.

better dun use internet, you not believe antivirus or Internet security suites(software). you sure firewall(hardware or software) can 100% protect your pc? i dun think so lo... no 1 can gurantee 100% bullet-proof from malaware, trojan, virus, etc...

even US pentagon also got hacked by hacker la, u think u got hardware firewall can stop the hacker?

This 'security expert' continue to open his mouth. Let me ask you one thing, Mr tanhks. You said you run Windows. As a Guest or as Administrator? whistling.gif Don't need to cut and paste a lot of things from Wikipedia if you don't know fundamentals of security, and blame a dongle (of all things) for your security issues. Like I said before, go read more. Google helps.

There was a Yes network outage yesterday morning, was a bit frustrated but after lunch it was ok. No announcements of downtime from their Twitter page, not good. shakehead.gif

Something interesting a friend passed to me, info from MCMC. And people complaining about 700Mhz awarded to YTL, when the other telco sitting on so much more spectrum. I wonder why Maxis/Digi/Celcom have so much spectrum but their mobile broadband still so slow. Is it a 3G vs 4G thing?

And link to WiMAX forum presentations (where this info comes from): http://www.beaconevents.com/2010/WiMaxForu...atmm/index.html

Interesting to read P1's presentation. Highest user download per month is 548GB! Pirated VCD seller? tongue.gif

Manage to borrow Yes GO dongle from my bro since he cannot install it on his laptop.

So far I'm pretty impress with the speed (average 5Mbps at SS18 Subang area) and finally able to login to Steam unlike Screamyx.

Is there any way to track your data usage when using YES? I already downloaded 10GB worth of data through Steam... tongue.gif From what I see on the billing page on their site, I still have RM10 as balance and RM10 for the rebate.

I still dunno how to check the data usage... rclxub.gif

try download DU meter, it can help you calculate you data usage, this is very good software, it also can show you real-time bandwidth of your internet line. no need go to do speedtest, this can tell you the real bandwidth you reach, when you surf net or download or upload, i believe this is more accurate than speed test...

USB Dongle for use with computer running windows or mac osx.

For HP, if you HP can support wifi then you can use hurdle (399).

the speed may be faster than tmnet but the latency still cannot compare.. probably will lag when playing games =/

if only tmnet made unifi available in my hometown.
