Anyone used "YES" with their iPad ?

  Good news for all.......just received this news ..
YES indeed is coming up with a special ‘Add On’ program with the launch of Yes Zoom, our home gateway, in January. Zoom and this ‘Add on’ program caters to more high usage consumers who use more than 7 GB per month. We’ll give more competitive edge.

Customer's experience:

Visited a few retail partners just to get the Huddle Launch Package...

1) Visited the one at Ikano in 2 occassions, no one at the counter and none bother to entertain in both visits. The IT retails at eCurve is providing much better service but they are not Yes channel partner.

2) Called and enquired the other one at Bandar Puteri, Puchong. Visited them today with intention to purchase the Huddle Launch Promotion package. Guess what, the dealer insisting to charge 3% service charge if payment via Credit Cards regardless outright purchase or 24 month installment plan. What a joke, there is an installment plan that charge customer for 3% service charge....

3) Trying my luck at the IT mall with the most Yes retail partners at Petaling Jaya with following fruitful experience:

a) The one at ground floor and the 2nd floor ( Company A ) both refuse to offer installment plan

b) Visited the one at 3rd floor. Similar experience with the one at Ikano,  no one at the counter and none bother to entertain

c) Finally settled with the one at 1st floor, a recommended place to go

how they give the monthly usage rebate? calculate from the date of activation? or from the day 1 credit been use???i wan to monitor my monthly usage and make sure got the rebate!

Depends on area as what mentioned by previous forumer.. My place (8th floor apartment) can get full bar at 17Mbps DL/5Mbps UL using speedtest.
