meaning you bought without contract? the prepaid plan? hehe ur lucky bro.. i remembered the prepaid plan was very hard to get since the demand for the phone was high that time..

anyway.. i think that our telcos will not provide the outright purchase since the demand for the iphone 4 is very high..

I went there about lunch time. I wouldn't say very crowded. About 30 minutes wait.

anyway i called maxis center, the guy told me that i still have unlimited access, but once i exceed 3GB quota they throttle my speed

Even maxis removed the unlimited internet access, you still have the unlimited plan.
Unless you cancel and replace the unlimited plan to either one of the iData plan.
Maxis will not advice you to change unless you really want to, to pay less for the iPhone device.

aiyah the 3gs 8gb rates is the same as 3g 8gb :S not a turn off but a bit disappointing since quite likely ip4 will stay at 2490 n 2990. was hoping for around 2190 n 2690, but 3gs 8gb should be around 1690 like that

seeing as maxis kinda overstock on 32gb 3gs now, hopefully they 'learn' something n revise their prices lol.

Hmm.. so if I am to send in my iPhone 3GS 32GB for warranty, would they be kind enough to swap me w one of those overstock units? lol

yup bro, im very sure... cause my dad just got his ipad like mid of last week, and he told me that the following day, he went over to maxis centre, and got another sim, multisim. And AFAIK ipad only supports data, for surfing, I assume the sim can be used for both calls + data, however ipad supports data only, so it uses data charges only

Does anyone know if Maxis accepts Amex or public bank credit card?

if u wan black u can get now from singapore or garage sales with higher price....

if u order urself from singapore which will take u around 3 week ( around the time they said maxis will launch )

if u wan get from malaysia set i duno how long u have to wait unless u ready to que up at 1st day launch to sign up plan or register faster to get the 1st batch which probably u need to wait around 1 month from now...

if u wanna get white... i think is next year and there 2 situation

1. tat time already tons of ppl around u using and u can tahan the temptation
2. when white come out sure become crazy again and u have to make sure u can get in the order for 1st batch. if not need wait again...

hoho... we are in the same situation... using the n73... wakaka
btw, maxis website is back... iPhone is still COMING SOON... the only mod part is android section i think
