If Maxis hasn't changed their rules, U can't port-in and subscribe to an iData plan; port-in customers IINM needs to subscribe to the iValue plans only.

If ur looking for an iPhone 3GS, the best time to purchase it would be in the next couple of weeks, just before Maxis/DiGi launches the iPhone 4. Am quite sure prices would have dropped drastically.

Otherwise, go get it 2nd hand from some of the forummers here

Should be possible; all they'll do is further extend ur contract period based on the new contract you're gonna be signing for.

As to the rest... there's no need to speculate when the iPhone 4 is going to be launched; when it's launched, U'll definitely hear of it so please stop 'spamming' My take is that it won't be coming in August

Are U looking at keeping your 012/Maxis number? If so, porting in via MNP *might* give you some issues; I know of some people who's ported in from DiGi into Maxis who's having a lot of network issues which remains unresolved. Am not too sure about the other way round though

Er.. so what happens after it's expired? Do they call U to let U know so U can sign up for a new plan or they still charge U based on the existing plan except U can leave Maxis anytime U want ?

I'm not really bothered (but if I think about it, my 12 month plan should be up too by now, or in the next few days) since I signed up for iData 2 and it's cheaper if they leave me on that plan since I pay RM50 p/month instead of RM58 p/month if I wasn't contracted

I've never used FaceTime but I'm assuming, if the other party's not on WiFi, his FaceTime call won't be connected through. Let me test it out tonight and get back to U

U don't have to always be contracted to Maxis - U can sign with DiGi or U can opt to get a contract-free iPhone from SG ! My set's contract-free!

If U make a lot of calls, 333 mins won't be suffice and 15sen p/min call rate is actually v high. I find that plan really not worth it. Plus the SMS is only for Maxis to Maxis networks.

And if u ain't contracted and oredi using an iPhone 4 then what's there to complain here ! Spare us puhhhllleeaaase!
