May I know, what will be the charge after the discountinution of the promotion?

After the contract expires (> 2 years), we manage to shift the same package to new address.

After the contract expires, my brother is still able to upgrade to 4Mbps @ RM88/month, even he is already graduated.

They won't ask you any question, just bring your phone bill, fill in the upgrade form, and provide your photocopied IC.

Port check arrangement in 3 business days, upgrade done at TMpoint Kelana Jaya.

The upgrade form need to get from TM point ? just tell them want to upgrade package ?

You must do it at TM point, cause they need your original IC and photocopy of that.

Hi. I faced the same problem like iceman0622. I just went to TM Point. 1 of the staff told me just bring my student card and fill in form to perform upgrade. But another guy said cannot since I no longer a student and my student card expired.
If I insist to upgrade to 4Mb, the streamyx account will then back to normal price RM140 BB combo.

May I know the actual step that your brother took to successfully upgrade to 4Mb?
Does TM required his student card photocopy?

Is his student expired during his application of streamyx upgrade?
Fyi, my student expired 1 years and 5 months ago.

Just want to ask you all.

Is it possible to move my Streamyx cool unipack from locations A to location B? As I contact to TM 100 customer service, they said that there is no charges reallocate from A to B, but they will 1st charge the bill as pro-rated basic.

However, my location B also have streamyx, but is basic package RM66 one, with stupid rental fee RM25~ They said that need to terminate the basic streamyx package at Location B. But my problem is... If I terminate the streamyx basic package at location B, and move my streamyx cool unipack from location A to location B, will the rental fee RM25 will be charge on the future time?

I contact to TM 100 customer service before. One said it still be charge RM25 rental fee, another said that it won't be charge rental fee RM25 as my cool unipack package has been waived for rental fee RM25. I need to listen which person?

Just go to your nearest TM Point and ask the staffs there!
Customer Service just a hired staff for taking calls, so info can be mislead.

Go to other TM Point, many forumers here have succeed in upgrading without questions asked.

Yes, you need to cancel the subscription at location B.
Then only you re-locate.
You should not be charged for RM25 as every subscription is contract based, if you move contract from location A to B, it is still the same contract.

I been using rm 88 with 4mb
Will the contract terminate ? Or I can use forever?
I apply student service even I'm not student
Since my house area no unifi. I wanna continue this package. Rm 88.
How long it can last?

Added on November 15, 2012, 12:35 amBased from my experience, the contract for Streamyx Coolunipack is 2 years. So if once you terminate this package, you cannot get it back already. (Since this package will not available currently~ )

It is ok whenever you are not the student, you still can apply student service. But if want to apply NEW for current package student service, it's NOT Streamyx Cool unipack anymore, it's Streamyx Grand pack... (You go to TM website to search about the package for Streamyx Grand pack)

The package RM88 for 4MB is unlimited, unless you terminate it.. If terminate it, then say bye bye to your "Streamyx Cool Unipack", you cannot get it back already if you successful terminate it.

Hope I give you this information is true la.. If some of the info mistake, please let me know la~

I went to TM to upgrade to 4m line, application is fine but one officer came out n told me my area cannot support 4m, but i insist my line can support 4m but she still say cannot becos my neibour is using 4m line. WTF, who can i forward this complain to other then TM office. tq

you may escalate the case to CFM/MCMC and they will do the upgrade for you.

Then I must never ever cancel my rm 88 4mb package. Haha

i have the same problem as you and no worries...

i terminate my streamyx at location B... and i just transfer my cool unipack to location B....then my phone line rental fee RM25 not charged because the Coolunipack will include the phone rental...
