Let me say this, right now you still have the opportunity to sell your 5770 and topup few hundred ringgits for a better card, because once you CF you have to commit to use those 5770's for a long while...so you gotta choose between sticking to the 5770, CF it or trade/topup for a better card...

Why am I mentioning this? because two 5770 is slightly better than 5850 but cost around RM600+RM600 = RM1200... 5850 is only around (even below) RM1000 and needs a moderate OC'ing to match those CF'ed 5770s...
Keep in mind CF can sometimes micro-stutters in certain games...

And it's easier to sell one great card then two good cards... tongue.gif

Remember, you're 5770 is still worth it's price right now, as in today...price will depreciate very soon, so decision is crucial... sweat.gif

gonna rent the sapphire hd5770 from lowyat 82 and try cfx liao brows.gif  whistling.gif

yeah,i suggest you rent.

Know how it actually 'feels' first in the real world rather then looking at benchmarks and numbers laugh.gif

no 5850 for renting?
then we can compare.

and see if its reliable to CF or buy a single 5850 whistling.gif

The HD 4850 is a good bargain buy only if you don't mind the fact that it requires a decent PSU (450W or greater), it is hot and it is noisy.

5000 series is much better, but the 5000 series equivalent to the HD 4850 is the HD 5750 (available at RM 405). At RM 299, the HD 5670 isn't anywhere near as good performing as the HD 4850.

That'll satisfy the power requirements.

Added on July 21, 2010, 1:14 pmThe HD5670 is available at RM299 at Cycom.

For me, I'd take the HD 5670, because I got fed up with hot and noisy GCs.

but most of the game won by 5870 laugh.gif

to me its better to say with one really good card because not all game utilize dual-gc isn't it? but yes it looks really cool with 2 or 3 cards together.

And also less performance, except for Far Cry, in which it beats the HD 4850. But you should still be able to get it to do 1920x1200 on some games, and it will easily do 1920x1200 on a lot of older games.

Guys, just want to inform if some of you don't know already.

ASUS 5750 1GB is having a promotion - RM399 only. Currently still available in CZONE. Someone on the forum told me (can't find back the thread, wanna thank him)...i grabbed one, and another guy grabbed one yesterday i think.

So better grab it fast if u r looking for this card...almost RM100 discount from previous price!

Other 5750 no price cut yet.

Good luck hunting.

Bro, go read the reviews, or at least the one I linked for you. I'm not going to do your thinking for you.
